Both teams are coming off a bye week. Broncos are 6-0 SU/ATS so far this season and are the DOG and against a team that has dropped 3 straight?? I don’t think so!! Look for Baltimore to benefit from a much needed bye week and to take care of business!! The Ravens dropped 3 straight heading into the bye week but important to note they out-gained 2 of those 3 opponents (Pats and Vikings). The Ravens are outscoring their opponents by 14 points per game at home this year. Meanwhile, the Broncos are coming off their highest output of the season scoring more than 30 points for the first time against San Diego and I can’t ignore that they are a horrible 1-9-1 ATS L11 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game. Baltimore is 12-1 ATS L13 after a game decided by fewer than 3 points, 6-1 ATS L7 off a bye week including 4-0 as a fave, and 9-2 ATS L11 as a fave!! Certain home faves cash more than 70% of the time when coming off a bye week!! With the home team 7-1 ATS L8 meetings it is tough for me to ignore Baltimore today!!

The Eagles more than likely will be without star Brian Westbrook but it shouldn’t matter!! Oddsmakers opened the Giants as a 3-point dog knowing the public would pound them thinking they can’t lose 3 straight!! But guess what?? They will!! I played against my Giants the past two weeks stating they would lose outright and they did. The G-Men are hobbled by injuries and the one to Eli is more serious than even he is admitting. Manning has a history of performing poorly against the Eagles and I don’t see that changing today. The Eagles lead the league in turnover margin and with much thanks to their defense who have 11 picks already on the season!! Look for a healthier Eagles defense to make enough big plays to set McNabb and Company up with good field position that they will be able to take advantage of. The Eagles are 11-2 ATS in their L13 when coming off a divisional game. The Eagles are now the dog, albeit a very small one, but is worth noting the dog is a perfect 9-0 ATS L9 meetings!!

Denver vs. Baltimore

For the third straight game, the unbeaten Broncos come in as the underdog. Finally we believe the oddsmakers will catch up on them. Both of these teams come off bye weeks, but there is a far greater sense of urgency on the Ravens sideline. Denver, for all its naysayers, has taken control of the AFC West with their big Monday Night win over the Chargers two weeks ago. Baltimore, meanwhile, has lost three straight and is desperate for a victory here. After three weeks and a 3-0 start some NFL insiders were calling the Ravens the best team in the league. Have they suddenly lost it? Not at all. In fact, the three losses to Cincinnati, New England and Minnesota, three of the best seven teams in football, came by a combined 11 points and two of them easily could have been wins as they lost on the game's final play. They were even in position to beat the Patriots in New England if not for a dropped pass by Mark Clayton inside the 10 yd line on a 4th down. Baltimore has a strong history coming out of bye weeks, covering six of seven in this situation. They are also 9-2 ATS as a favorite under HC Harbaugh and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings with Denver. This will be the first time all season where the Broncos have faced a strong offensive club on the road. QB Flacco ranks 4th in the NFL in passing yards. Counterpart Orton does not have the neccessary tools to take advantage of the Ravens secondary. Baltimore is our NFL Oddsmaker Mismatch.
