Denver is a good team at home but just a terrible one on the road, posting a 3-35 SU mark away from Mile High the last three seasons including 0-7 SU (0-6-1 ATS) away this season. Making matters worse for Denver is the fact that they will be without starting guard Bryant for this one, and he is getting a dozen points per contest. For their part Arkansas State is 5-1 SU and 4-1 ATS at home this season, and playing with revenge for a nine point loss at Denver earlier this season. However, in that game not only did Bryant play, but Denver made nine more free throws, the exact margin of victory. Now with the zebra edge in ASU's favor, look for Arkansas State to get the win and cover in this one.

We believe the markets did the right thing in adjusting the Memphis side a bit higher this morning, given the major New Orleans fatigue issues. But we also believe that an equal adjustment needed to be made for the Total. It was not, and that leaves outstanding value here in a game that brings high fatigue levels that impact both the pace and the offensive efficiency levels.This will be the 6th game in nine days for the Hornets, with a court change each time, and some draining outings – two of the games went to O.T., and two more were decided by two points or less. So what do they do here? Slow it down in order to compete. That is nothing new – they are 5-0 to the Under when playing back-to-back nights since Chris Paul rejoined the rotation, and they have to focus on going even slower here, with Paul bruising his left knee late in last night’s loss to Chicago, the same knee he had injured at Golden State earlier in the week. Off of 47:50 of floor time last night, and with fellow starters Peja Stojakovic, David West and Marcus Thornton all going over 40, look for an all-out focus on playing this one as slowly as possible.Memphis will not be in any hurry to force the pace either, with four of the Grizzly starters going more than 38 minutes at San Antonio last night, but they are getting much more comfortable in their half-court defensive sets as they learn to play better together. In the only two home games the past two weeks they held Oklahoma City to 84 points and Orlando to 94, and they can frustrate the New Orleans offense throughout in this one

Analysis: I've backed Drake before this season to much success, and i see no reason not to back them here. There are several reasons why i like this play, notably the revenge angle and the fact that we are backing the home team that also happens to be in better form right now.

Drake had won 5 games in a row before losing by 16 points at Northern Iowa. I'm glad they lost in blowout fashion, as that's created a bit of value with today's line. The fact is, this Drake team is playing their best basketball of the season right now. After all, who doesn't lose in Northern Iowa, as that team is absolutely loaded and can make a run to the Sweet 16 this year. I like how Drake has played it's past 3 home games. They've beaten 3 of the toughest opponents by double digits most recently. Wichita St, Missouri St, and Illinois St are all very capable teams, and Drake dispatched of all them rather easily. I believe this team will be ready once again to fire a big performance in front of their home crowd today. Their loss at Northern Iowa isn't going to deter them in the least. If anything it will only motivate them to play that much stronger today.

Creighton has won 4 of their past 5 games in their own right, bu´t keep in mind that 3 of those wins were all at home. This Creighton team isn't quite as good as past years editions of this team. In fact, i could argue that this team is actually overrated. I especially don't like this team away from home, as they've really struggled. In fact, Creighton has only 2 road wins all season. I"m happy that Creighton beat Bradley in their last game, because the win looks better than it really was, and again created value today. Let's not forget that Bradley totally collapsed in the final 4 minutes of that specific matchup. Sure Creighton did their part, but i still don't trust this team on the road. I also don't trust the mentality of this team completely, as i believe there is a bit of turmoil with this team. Losing a diverse talent like P'Allen Stinnett hurts this team, as he was able to do so many different things to help this team. I think there is a reason why this team has struggled on the road, and it has to do with their mentality and the fact they are too one dimensional.

I love the revenge angle for Drake tonight. They played on January 6th at Creighton, and Drake lost that game by 4 points. I want to mention that they were 13 point underdogs in that game. Now you see that today's game is a PK, so has that much changed in less than a month? That's the million dollar question that we know the answer too. Obviously that line was too high that day, as Drake easily covered the point spread. Today, Drake will get their revenge and win this game by at least 6-8 points. Drake hung tough in that last game thanks to their rebounding and their overall discipline. They only shot 38% from the field, yet still was there in the end. That's a testament to this Drake team, as they do all the little things right.

At home and on revenge, Drake is going to win this game. I also absolutely love the fact that Drake shoots 75% from the free throw line. We are backing by far the more disciplined team that is also playing at home. I love the spot Drake is in tonight, and we are backing it for a PINATA BUSTING TRIPLE STAR today. Yep, a TRIPLE STAR. Let's cash this winner with DRAKE as a PK tonight!

Note: I usually stay away from these high profile games and this is one of the biggest this year. But this is actually going to work in our fa~vor today as the Wildcats and their fans are going to be jumping as high as the roof tonight. While Kansas is clearly the best team, and perhaps the best team in this country, this is a tough spot for them. K State has the physicality to play with them and with this 4 point spot on their homecourt, I have to grab it. This should be a great game to watch and I want to be the one getting 4, not giving.

Shooting has been a problem for UMass this year and they are not as talented but they do hit the buckets better here and they do play a good brand of D. The Niners should be flat and I think they have a hard time getting up for this one..

Note: This line is starting to show movement at some of the sharper books and despite more bets being placed on the Spiders, it is moving downward. I don't know if this trend will continue and I do care if it does. I like this number right now very much. These two teams are moving in different directions here late in the season and our team is moving forward. They could have easily covered 4 straight but an OT loss by 5 at GW on a 5 spot stopped their streak. Both teams have demonstrated very good D this year but while the Billikens continue to play well in that department, the Spiders have slipped their efforts over the last 5 contests. This is more than likely going to be a very low scoring affair and these points are large for that alone. Stl beat Richmond by 5 on their homecourt a couple of weeks ago and they have reeked havoc with this team a lot, winning the last 4 of 5 outright, and everytime in the Dog Role. Depending upon when you are reading this, you might have to settle for +7. That will be fine. I don't know if St Louis can pull the outright here today, but I do think the~y give it one Hell of a Shot, and they can do that with their strong bench which will give them the advantage in the second half.
