Thursday's Action 40 Dime baseball selection on the Yankees as a road favorite at Tampa Bay in the finale of a four-game series. At the time I release this winner, New York is a -135 to -140 favoorite across the board both here in Vegas and offshore. Note that when placing your action, you must list CC Sabathia as New York’s staroing pitcher. Sabathia must start or this play is VOID!

Winner yesterday Under Pirates 1*Atlanta Braves @ Colorado Rockies - BRAVES TO WIN (+103)
Tommy Hanson is on the mound for the Braves, and he has been solid all season long. He is coming off maybe his roughest outing of the season, but I see him bouncing back to form in today's start. Hanson is 10-5 on the season with a 2.73 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. Batters are hitting just .198 against Hanson, who has struck out 117 on the season. Hanson went 7 innings giving up just 4 hits and 1 earned run for the victory against the Rockies earlier this month. Jhoulys Chacin is on the mound for the Rockies and has pretty similar numbers as Hanson, with an 8-7 record, 3.37 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Batters are hitting .206 against Chacin. Jhoulys is also coming off a rough start, where he lasted 6.1 innings giving up 7 hits and 5 earned runs. The Braves roughed up Chacin back on the 5th of this month, as he pitched just 5 innings in Atlanta giving up 4 earned runs on 4 hits while walking 6 batters. The Braves are playing well lately winning 13 of their last 19 games and are 8-4 in their last 12 as underdogs. Note that the Braves are 7-0 in Hanson's last 7 road starts, and 6-1 in his last 7 starts overall. The Braves are a perfect 7-0 in his last 7 starts on 4 days rest and 6-0 in his last 6 starts vs NL West division opponents. The Rockies are 1-7 in their last 8 games vs a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15, and 0-4 in their last 4 when playing the last of a four game series. Note the Rockies are winless in Chacin's last 4 starts (in which he is 0-3), and they are just 2-5 in his last 7 starts vs NL East teams. Atlanta has taken 5 of the 7 meetings between these two teams on the season, and have 10 more wins than the Rockies overall. I like getting Atlanta as underdogs with Hanson on the mound, who should feel confident against these Rockies hitters. Take the Braves as underdogs this afternoon.
