I like Cincinnati QB Zach Collaros alot. The senior is in his second full year as a starter as has seven TD's this year and has yet to throw an interception. Last season against NC State, Collaros tossed for 310 yards and three TD's and I expect he'll have a field day against an NC State secondary that has allowed an average of 271 yards per game through the air in the first three games. Did I mention that D-II Liberty tossed for 313 yards last week against the Wolfpack? It's a Thursday night contest which means less practice and preparation, especially for the road team. NC State is also a little dinged up on defense.

Thursday's Action 30 Dime Thursday Winner # 2 in a Row goes tonight from Nippert Stadium, as I back the home faverite in this one. Take Cincinnati minus the points agaionst the visitong NC State Wolfpack. The Bearcats are priced right around a 7 1/2-point favorite both here in Vegas and offshore, and I like them to take this one by double-digits.

My 60 Dime play is on North Carolina State against Cincinnati. The line in Las Vegas at 8 a.m. was 7½ points, but one or two places have gone to 8. Always look for the best numboer when possible. I have a feelong this line is over-inflated

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES/Washington Nationals under 8 runs, 5 dimes
Oswalt shook off the stigma of some mediocre performances and got back on track in his last start. He gave up 5 hits, struck out 7, and gave up no runs against the Cardinals. Brad Peacock is also fresh off a strong start against the Mets in which he gave up no runs and 2 hits. I like the fact that Roy O. has buried the Nats over the course of his career, and I really think that 8 runs is a little too high for this situation. Go with the under.

The injury plagued Wolfpack travel north to Cinci tonight in a primetime matchup. Look for the Bearcats to be hungry for revenge after they were beated by NC State in Raleigh last season. The Bearcats are lucky enough to have an excellent back in Isaiah Pead, who is so far averaging a whopping 9+ yards per carry at this early point in the season. With NC State's defense injured and worried about stuffing the run, things should open up for the Senior Zach Collaros, who has the makeup of a decent game manager. He also has a respectable group of receivers to work with. The Bearcats have the advantage in the turnover and special teams departments. I like the home by well more than a touchdown in this one.
