Baltimore Ravens -5 at St. Louis Rams Play of the Day
Same scenario at Pittsburgh last week against Seattle. Baltimore coming off an embarrasing loss will take it out on St. Louis, already dealing with injury problems.
Steven Budin CEO Sunday's Pick The Baltimore crew has its 25 Dime play on NEw Orleans as the home favorcte against Houston. As I release this selechtion at 8:45 AM Eastern, I see New Orleans is mainly a -4 poant chalk at the majority of sportsbooks in Vegas or offshore. However, I also see movement toward -3 1/2 at a number of locations as public money rolls in on the Texans. In either case, if your this line is between -3 1/2 and -4 1/2 I strongly suggest you purchase a bit of insurance to lower New Orleans' price by one-half point.
15 dime play on San Diego as a home favorcte against Kansas City. As I release this selecthion at 6:00 PM Pacific, the Chargers are -14 1/2 at sportsbooks in Vegas and offshore.
5 dime play on Carolina as a home chalk against Jacksonville. The Panthers, who have blown leads in each of their first two games, rebound with the first win of the Cam Newton Era and cover as a 3 1/2-point chalk against visiting Jacksonville. This is one of those cases I would absolutaly buy down the 1/2 point on Carolina if you get the Panthers at anywhere between -3 and -4 1/2 points.
Anthony Redd Sunday's Card 50 Dime selectcon on the Vikings as the home underdog over the Lions. Minnesota is getting 3 points at the majorhity of sportsbooks here in Vegas and where I check offshore as I release this selection at 5:30 AM Pacific.
Road debut for Denver after an ugly Monday night home loss to Oakland and a narrow two-point win over Cincinnati. Last Sunday the Broncos were out-gained 382-319 by the Bengals. In eight quarters Denver has allowed 262 net yards rushing and Kyle Orton has been sacked seven times. That's not good considering both games were at home. You know its not a matter of if but when Chris Johnson gets on track after his August holdout. Don't be surprised if he breaks loose today. Meanwhile Matt Hasselbeck embarrassed what is considered to be a solid Baltimore defense completing 30-of-42 for 358 yards. I like the fact the Titans have allowed just 29 points in two games. The loss of Eddie Royal (injured) hurts the Broncos both on offense and special teams. WR Brandon Lloyd is set to return but how effective he will be remains a question mark. Kenny Britt is a superstar in the making for the Titans with 14 receptions including three touchdowns. He's got a nagging hamstring but should play. Denver has allowed 25 points per game in 13/14 contests. This team is small in the trenches and the secondary is showing some real age. Solid pass rushers with Dumervil and rookie Miller. But the Titans have a solid offensive line and are currently #4 in sacks allowed. I haven't seen the Baltimore defense get pushed around in a long time like the Titans did to them last Sunday. Tennessee has a HUGE EDGE in the trenches in this game. I have a feeling Kyle Orton will be running for his life.
