No, but he is the classic representation of the kind of fighter who beats fighters like Stephen. Thompson as we saw is a side stance straight up TMA-er. Anyone with a decent clinch or single may very well fuck his world up. Brown is a pure grinder, he's going to make this ugly, which was something Stephen's last opponent was unable to do.

They keyword there is MAY. That's speculation. We really don't know much about Thompson's grappling. We DO know that he is a black belt in a form of jiu-jitsu that at least claims to be 50% groundwork and that his brother-in-law is Carlos Machado. Personally, I think that it will probably take a grappler other than I-get-subbed-every-time-the-fight-hits-the-ground Matt Brown to exploit whatever weakness may be there.
