Maybe I will. And there is no such thing as "JCVD nonsense."

    There, I said it.
Only one way to find out.

And I've posted this before, but supposedly Anthony Ellis gained 35 pounds in 16 weeks while dropping his bodyfat:

well he is going to drop 15 pounds of fat, so he actually needs to gain about 35 pounds of muscle. Overeem did it with horsemeat, so you know it can be done.

Yeah, and 35 fucking pounds of muscle in one year is a pretty lofty goal, even while dropping 15 lbs of fat. This is probably extremely difficult for somebody to do with "horse meat".

Overeem didn't even gain all his weight in a year with "horse meat".

Edit: not putting you down X just stating some facts

You have to remember that "lean mass" is not exclusively muscle. And really we're talking about lean mass.

Also, if in a year I got to 180 and was at the same bodyfat percentage I would consider that something of a victory. So there are levels of success here.

you can do it. I think it can be done, difficult, but possible. You are going to have to lift heavy and be meticulous about your training and diet/

doesn't count, he's black. The extra muscle in his calf helped.

I actually think that one of the biggest obstacles will be too much out-of-gym activity. Because I've been talking to a Shotokan instructor who's really into competitions--what I've been wanting to do--and he has invited me to come check out his class. If all goes well I might start doing that shit and if I do I'll be burning more calories.

                  BOL.

He was actually featured in a documentary in '97 that was made by Bill Phillips and EAS. Ellis at the time was like my hero.

                  Here's his little segment:

I don't think it is possible to gain 35 pounds of muscle in a year. You should set a more reasonable goal of 10 pounds or something like that. PooPoo, how much muscle can someone really gain in a year? I am 5'10'' and about 175 pounds. How much muscle could I gain in a year if I worked my ass off?
                        1 unit = 300 $

I all depend on what you take (proteins, creatines, testosterone, how much you eat).
You can train your ass off but if you just eat normally and don't take any supplements, you won't gain much

First off, I've already addressed the "muscle" argument.

Second, there are plenty of documented cases of people gaining "impossible" amounts of lean mass in relatively short periods of time. Anthony Ellis is one. Casey Viator is another.

Have you ever heard of the Colorado Experiment?

                                Happy Thanksgiving IWS!!

oh, and today is going to be lame. My family isn't celebrating until Saturday since my cousin and his girlfriend are coming down. Today I have to go to my girlfriend's Mom's for Thanksgiving dinner (gay) so I am about to head over there. She is already being a bitch to me since she knows I don't want to go and stuff so this should be fun.
