          Sorry but I don't beleive that. It sounds like they are trying to sell something. I have also heard about people gaining huge amounts of muscle in very short periods of time but it almost always involved steroids. I am trying to motivate myself to get into shape as well. I would be thrilled to make about 5-10 pounds of muscle gains in a year. I will only be working out upper body of course because of my ACL tear.

            My son is trying to put on 20-30lbs this offseason, hoping at least 1/2 of it will be muscle. His diet will be around 4000 cals a day minimum, and 200-300g of protein daily. He is doing the Bill Starr 5x5 and a lot of HIIT workouts to build more explosion.

              Bro, you can put on more than 5 to 10 lean pounds in a year. If I only gained 5 pounds in 12 months I'd cry.

                I'm going to try to take in 3,000 cals and a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. I have a really hard time with both of those though, especially the protein.

                My first goal is going to be to just get to 180, period, and then assess the situation and figure out where to go from there. I think I can do it in 5 months.

                This shit is officially underway. I hit the gym again yesterday. Eating right now. About to mix up a protein shake. Let's do this!

                  So I just heard some shit on TV and had to bust out a triple take: It was a commercial for RC Willey and the bitch says, " . . . and this Sega Genesis with 80 games is only $19 . . ." I had to rewind that shit and look, and sure enough, apparently the Genesis is back on the market.

                              His Deadlift 335

                              I was never good on the bench, he gets that from me but his problem seems to be mostly form problems. His form is horrible on the bench, doenst matter how many times we go over it, his leg comes off the ground, sqirms on the bench, etc.

                              I told him to get the myfitnesspal for his phone so he can do it while he is at school.
