I think a good ass beating just kind of takes the wind our your sails. I mean, I was about 5u ahead for the year and thinks were going decently and now after an event in which I went 1-8 with my bets, I'm in the fucking hole. On top of that, this weekend just doesn't look too awesome for making money.

When things are going well, you're motivated . . . enthusiastic. But when I have a really bad night you're just kind of like fuck this betting shit for a little while.

I just don't have the time to stay up on my research and it is costing me. It is not really accurate to say I don't have the time, it is not a priority for me right now... and I realize you can't stay ahead of the lines without knowing more than everyone else- which I don't feel like I do right now. I just don't have the motivation... in the old days I would have already looked at all these undercard guys and had lines set before the lines broke. I haven't looked at anyone other than the guy that Benevidez is fighting. I haven't even looked at Jacare's opponent, which is unusual for me. I guess I just don't like the sport as much I used to.

Morale is definitely a factor. Most of us got killed at 144 with all those dogs beating heavy favorites. This was one of those events where I feel like a fucking idiot for even picking some of the guys I did in those parlays. Especially Rampage after I fucking talked about how I didn't trust his commitment to even training anymore. Also, Tim Boetsch can eat a sack of baby dicks.

I would probably make the Okami bet again. I should have gotten out of the Rampage bet, and I actually tried, but the line was so shitty it wasn't worth it.

Well when everyone thought it couldn't possibly have gotten worse, they were wrong. So very, very wrong. And when so many of the campaign promises weren't put to fruition in a four year term it feels like betrayal.
