You should just put together a template for that shit and copy and paste every time.

I also have certain questions that make up the bulk of my income on there.

How do I find my wireless password?
My laptop won't start (or: my laptop shuts down randomly) . . . What's wrong?
I can't remember the password to my computer. How can I bypass it?

Those are all big ones. I try not to get involved with questions that are going to take a lot of back and forth troubleshooting. I've spent 2 hours working on the same issue before, sometimes not even to get the Accept. So I try to focus now on shit that I just have to give the answer and I either get the Accept or I don't, but there's not going to be a lot of back-and-forth bullshit.

That's really good, though. I only make about $17 an hour on there or so. Maybe a little more. But definitely not close to $45 to $70.

I have one. Actually two, one for the "no you can't sue" and one for the "Yes, you can sue."

It is easier to make money because there are more questions and they pay more. The lowest value is typically around $15 ($15 to the expert) on up to about $60

I try to stay away from questions where there will be a lot of effort put forth as well. I just wait around for the low hanging fruit.

I averaged my shit out one month and it was right about $17 per accept, and I probably average about 1 accept per hour. Maybe a little more, but not much more.

I wish I could average about 3 Accepts per hour. Then I'd do it every day for 2 hours and end up making about $3K a month. I'd be happy with that.

Hmm. I can easily get 3 accepts per hour... I think $17 is probably not much lower than the average accepted answer for me. Maybe the accept rate is higher, it is at least 70% for me.

I probably hit about 50% on my Accepts or slightly better.

Like I said, I'm pretty selective about the questions that I take. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.

Yeah, I took a look at your profile... you just aren't answering enough questions, which I totally understand. I would answer 20 or 30 per day to earn $3000-4000 per month. I only answer about 5-10 per day these days. I have almost 5000 accepts at this point, at $20 a piece, it is sad that I have earned almost $100k on that site and contributed almost nothing to the greater good in doing so.

20-30 a day is insane to me. There are a few guys in the computer category who do that but they take a lot of questions that I would never touch and they also are glued to the site for like 12 hours a day.

Yesterday I got 7 Accepts and that probably took me about 7 hours of either scanning for questions or answering questions.

Well you have to have some paper credentials, like a degree, certification, or verifiable work history in the field you want to answer questions in. Beyond that, there have to be openings for new Experts.

It took about 6 months from the day I applied to the day my account was up and running because they weren't looking for new computer experts at the time.

I don't think they have a section for busboys.

20-30 per day was part time for me, I was working a 9-5 job as a lawyer, and also doing some side work in addition to that. I would generally try to do 10-15 while I was at work, just between appts or whatever, then 10 or so after the kids went to bed. Probably about 3-4 hours total. I guess there are just more questions in legal. Also, I am admitted in almost every legal sub category, so that helps.

Poopoo, you have to have some knowledge that people will pay for... maybe you should approach JA and ask suggest an XBox category. I am not kidding, by the way. I think there are some people that would pay for secret Xbox knowledge.
