I think Sapp could actually win that if he tries.

I watched Battle Royale again last night. Good all around movie. Much better than The Hunger Games.
Crime of the Century: Mocking Grown Ups.
Just watched ep. 1. Starting off good so far, though I was a little confused about exactly who was warring against who and how and why. . .I heart cockComment

After we talked about this, I saw this article:
Yahoo Entertainment is your source for the latest TV, movies, music, and celebrity news, including interviews, trailers, photos, and first looks.
Pretty sure they got the idea by lurking here, pretty much all the same movies we talked about (Running Man, Lord of the Flies, Battle Royale, Winter's Bone).2012: +19.33

Indeed. I think your detective work is excellent and your conclusions are unassailable. After we talked about this, I saw this article:

I finished Season 1 of GoT last night. Good, great even.
What should I watch now? I still need to watch Breaking Bad, I am thinking of starting that next. Maybe Six Feet Under (which I know nothing about, but seems to be universally praised). I thought about Spartacus, since I am in the swords and shields mood after GoT, but I have watched one episode and it seemed so terrible, I think it will depress me after Got. Suggestions?
Have you guys seen Rome?2012: +19.33

I'd say Breaking Bad. It has not had a single bad season yet.I finished Season 1 of GoT last night. Good, great even.

But Spartacus is also awesome. You will probably need to give it like 3 episodes to really get into it. The first season is excellent and the prequel Gods of the Arena season is also very good. Season 2 is not that great, though.I heart cockComment

You should watch the first two episodes of GoT season 2.
And yes, you should also watch Rome. It's very well done, and it wraps up nicely after two seasons, unlike a lot of other shows that linger on forever and go to shit.
Edit: I've only seen the first season of The Wire, but I thought that was pretty good also.Comment

I have seen Rome, was just asking.
I thought about the Wire too, but what I read, it was more of plot driven series, like law and order? No real characters of character development... it is more about the city of Baltimore? Is that right?
I want to go ahead and watch GoT episodes from season 2, but I know I will be annoyed at the cliffhangers they do on every episode. I like to wait until the season is done and watch it all one after the next. Really, I prefer to wait until the whole series is done, but a buddy gave me his GoT blu rays, so I decided to watch it.2012: +19.33

The wire has subtle character development, but only as a pretext to the way everything stays the same. It's like getting a new chess set where the pieces look different. It's still the same game at the end of the day. The wire is one of the best shows ever. Highly recommended. If your looking for something to watch over the course of a week or so then Rome is a good choice. Spartacus takes a good 3-4 episodes to get a real feel for. That first episode doesn't really do the rest of the first season justice. It's pretty slow and whatnot until he's captured and brought to Cappua.I have seen Rome, was just asking.
