A lot of guys would make it worse that that, but, I think some of the MMA guys would do pretty well if they went to competition grappling. Not Diaz though, he is going to lose. He is probably a bit bigger though, and may be able to win off a takedown... so there is a chance.

You can win at blackjack, just not blackjack on a computer. Run, it is impossible to keep winning. Put it on Cormier.

If Cormier fights smart, he will win. The striking might be close, but you have to give an edge to Cormier based on his showing against Bigfoot. On the mat, Barnett can only work from the top, and even then, he is not a submission machine. No way he is going to take down and hold down Cormier. Barnett may be working leg locks... leg locks are the anti-wrestler magic elixir.

I am going to make a big bet on Cormier. I never bet big on dogs, but there is value there IMO. Barnett is a fine fighter, but he just doesn't match up well with Cormier IMO. Wrestler vs. better wrestler. Also, Cormier is black, so he has the edge standing.

Based on his fight with Monson, Cormier is probably going to come out looking to strike and avoid the ground. Based on his interviews, he respects the possibility of a submission from these guys. My only concern is if the striking isn't going his way, I hope he is willing to play some gnp.
