Apparently, his team came up with a script that was so bad the project got shelved.

I heard something about it and apparently the concept took a LOT of liberties with the original story. Like, the Turtles were aliens or some shit like that.

Yeah, it was an ugly game all around really. Neither team looked especially good, even in the instances where someone scored. A total fantasy killer for anyone with Vick, Celek, Richardson, or Maclin. McCoy owners got an alright game out of him but nothing special by any means.

My Saints shit the bed too. Actually they overachieved considering how bad they were getting dominated at the line of scrimmage. They shouldn't have even been in a position to make it close.
