Cloud Atlas, The Master, Flight and Wreck-It Ralph will all be out by tomorrow and I want to see them all. Then next weekend we're getting Skyfall and Lincoln.

I know what "The Master" is only because I read an article about it a few weeks ago. I know Skyfall of course, but I thought it was already out. I know "Lincoln" because we talked about DDL a few weeks ago, but I thought it was already out too. I have never even heard of "Flight" or "Wreck it Ralph". It is crazy how much info you "accidentally" get just by having a TV on (even when I had satellite, I had a DVR though, but still managed to hear about movies somehow).

I'm sure you'd have no interest in Wreck-It Ralph. It's an animated film that references a lot of 80s video games. But I think it looks awesome:

how much weed were you smoking? I recall you arguing that one or the other was required for sanity. If i was going to start using, i would probably use lsd.

Wreck it ralph lookspretty good. I actually was alive and played video games in the 80's... so i get it. It is just video game use as an adult that strikes me as strange

I haven't smoked any weed since I left California. I just had to come to terms with the fact that if I drink then I'm not going to school the next day. And school is important. So no drinking from Sunday night until Thursday night.

And I dropped acid once. It was not pleasant.

I rarely play video games anymore, but I won't say that I don't get it. Games today are designed for adults anyway. I guess I kind of think about them like movies, but you get to control the characters and make shit happen.

I got super paranoid and started to worry that the people around me were plotting against me. I was feeling all fucked up when everyone else seemed to be having a good time so I was wondering if they intentionally slipped me something to make me permanently insane. I was considering suicide if it didn't wear off after 24 hours.

It was not good.

I also did mushrooms. That experience started out fantastically. During the first half I heard music in a way I never had before and felt very connected to this girl I was with. But then for whatever reason the shit just took a turn for the worse and became kind of like the acid experience.

A lot of people get off on hallucinogens, though. I had a roommate several years ago who would do the shit a few times a week. I think a lot of it has to do with personality. You might actually like it because worry-free kind of people seem to have more pleasant experiences. But you also have to worry about LSD psychosis.
