I don't think so. Guillard has shown some pretty good T3D in his recent fights. As long as Guillard's head's on straight then I think he wins. But he's unpredictable, so he may do something stupid and get subbed.

I think so, too. I actually would not be particularly surprised to see Alessio win.
Roller is a good wrestler and packs a big punch. I agree that Alessio has a chance though. Struve could easily win that one. He has huge range and I think he is a better striker. If Miocic takes him down he could be putting himself in danger. Struves BJJ is pretty damn efficient. Miocic does have a solid wrestling background but I question his brazilian jiu jitsu ability. He started competing in MMA in 2010. I doubt he has that much jiu jitsu experience, he would probably be in danger taking Struve down. Doesn't mean he wont but I consider it unlikely. Stipe could also land a big punch. He is a power house. I like Struve in this one, espcially as a significant dog. I realize now struve is not fighting on this card.
I am leaning towards sonnen. Too many questions for Silva here. Knee issue, Southpaw wrestler, Sonnen's improved sub game, emotion...
I think this fight is too unpredictable. Sonnens chances of knocking out or submitting Silva are pretty minimal. Espcially when it comes to submitting Sonnen. So he basically has to knock out Anderson Silva to win inside the distance. Given that, Sonnen most likely has to win by decision. That entails fighting the best guy in the world for 25 minutes without getting stopped. Thats too much of a gamble...
Roller has knocked out a total of one (1) opponent since coming into the WEC. That's one KO/TKO in 12 fights. What is it that really leads you to believe he has a "big punch?"
Luke said it best: "Getting knocked out by Roller? FAIL!"

Ok I guess your right. I just remember seeing that fight with Tavares. That was a hell of a knockout.
I really do not understand this logic. It's obviously not guaranteed to happen again, but we saw 23 minutes of Chael Sonnen fucking Anderson Silva right in the ass in the middle of the octagon.
i think sonnen can do that again minus the punches he caught Silva early. but Sonnen has to pace himself well so he can do that for 5 rounds. still, Silva hits hard and accurate for the whole 5 rounds so im staying away and just gonna enjoy the fight and use the live betting if im at home.
