Yeah, it's hard to really know what to make of that fight, but there's no question about it that Nate sent Maia on an all-expenses-paid roundtrip vacation to Jupiter in that shit.

      ^^ lol.

That's why I say that. I though Maia would win before the fight. Since Nate put him away so quickly, it left alot of questions. So I have to go with what I thought would happen before they fought...

It is a lot like the Fedor/Werdum fight or the Mir/Kongo fight. They happened too fast, and I don't think any of the 3 could replicate the performance, but least of all, Nate.

I just don't think that Maia can hang on the feet with Nate and I'm not sure he could get the fight to the ground unless Nate wanted it to go there.

By the way, fucking LOL at Phil Davis vs Rodney Wallace.

          That's such a bullshit matchup.

I mean, you beat Brian Stann and . . . then you get the guy that Brian Stann beat right before you owned his ass?

Sonnen (R-Or) basically has to come in and take him down in every round, avoid being subbed, avoid being stood up, and avoid eating knees and uppercuts on his long range shots.

I think it is possible, and maybe 1 or 2 fights out of 10 he could do it. But, most likely it is a highlight reel for Anderson.

I don't root against you. But you have only posted 2 plays that I can recall. Maybe if you posted more often or more realistic plays we would know if you were trolling or not.
That would be I. And I honestly could see that happening to. And Sideload, I am with ya man...I was with you with Werdum also, we just disagreed on Okami-Munoz.

So far I have 2 units on Sonnen @ +400

            1 unit on Brenneman @ +325

And I am going to also bet Hallman and Morecraft, probably 2 to 3 units on Hallman, and 1 or 2 units on Morecraft. Kinda want to bet Story, but sorta doubt I will unless his price improves a bit more.

I think the word is out on Struve. Rush him and get him out of there. I actually have not seen Morecraft fight, so I am basing this off of what I have read. He has the look of an athletic heavy, and seems to have good power. That alone makes me think he should be a pick em with Struve. If anyone has any links to Morecrafts fights, please post them.

I seem to be convincing myself that Hallman might be the best value on the card.

Hallman might not be a bad bet, especially at the current odds. He's kind of old but he's not a bad fighter. I actually am looking at him as well.

                        Re: UFC 117

I just watched Hallman/ John Howard. Hallman is a very good grappler. He took Howard down and dominated him for the first 2 rounds. Almost completely. Third round Howard got him down, then he reversed it. He prevented pretty much all damage until the end. With 30 seconds left the ref stood them up and Howard slugged him and followed up knocking him out with 5 seconds left. It was pretty much all Hallman up until that point but you know Howard, he swings for the fences.

Yea, the way I see the fight playing out(at least a good chance of it), just does not jive with the current line. Besides the Davis assault, Saunders really has not looked super spectacular, and I just think Hallman is smart enough(and good enough) to win this one.

What's the deal with Fitch/Alves being a #1 contenders match (as announced by Dana at the press conference)? I mean, if Fitch wins, ok. He's won 5 in a row. But if Alves wins, he literally hasn't fought since his title fight shutout. Is he really going to get another shot at GSP after a single fight?
