Well I didnt have money of the fight but as soon as Sonnen got the takedown I was trying to figure out how big my lead was going to be in the mma contest .Instead I'm in 7th

Oh, and if James Toney wins @UFC 118, I will shoot myself in the dick with a whole round of paintballs.

I want Toney to win so bad .Not because I'm a boxing fan because I love chaos .I loved the chaos of Fedor losing and wanted to see the same with Silva losing tonight thats why I was rooting for Sonnen.


If Toney wins it would be like the sky is falling again

I realized you have to gunsling in this contest because everyone else is .Had I won on Sonnen I would have been at almost 210 but even at the 74 I have now three 20 unit bet winners or one big dog and I'm in the lead again.


I think after this contest we should up the buy in to 25 or 50 because I just have a hard time being serious for only 10 bucks .I bet ever PPV fight tonight and didnt even have a reason for most of them .But I will say I'm having fun

Yeah. I would like to raise the stakes as well... but i think we need to change the format or betting limit. As it is now, it is not really about mma betting, so much as it is about money management and who can get lucky on a few dogs at the right time. Basically, whoever hits the last dog is going to win.

I say raise the stakes, instead of 20% of your roll on a fight max make it 5% and close all betting during the card (so people like me dont chase and lose lol)


If we cut the max bet down to 5% and raise the stakes it will be more about MMA capping ability than who can hit the biggest dog( which I think is fun obv)

I for sure want to do another contest .

Ok I'm back and done being a dick.

Still geeking out about that fight.

I thought GSP would beat Silva before this fight and I still do. Although I think it's a different fight. GSP passes guard better than just about anyone, but once he passes his control leaves a lot to be desired. I think he would have more offense than Chael but also would leave more openings for Anderson to get up by going for submissions and not being as smothering as Chael.

Now I just wonder how Silva can keep up his pattern of alternating between "Worst Fight of all Time" and "Fight of the Year". Maybe Silva's next opponent has to pull out late; Palhares steps in - evasive dancing ensues.
