I certainly understand safety and to some extent sportsmanship, but I really hate it when people say a technique should be banned because "it doesn't take any skill". Whenever I hear that, I want to quote Boot-To-the-Head, "Ed Gruberman, you have failed to grasp Mixed Martial Arts. Approach me that you might see."
Really? I actually don't see a lot of skill in walking up to someone on the ground and stomping the shit out of them.
Besides, we kind of have stomps. They're just disguised as axe kicks.
Another fucking shitty ass decision on Yves edwards. Yet again i lose a bunch of money to dumb shits that don't know how to judge mma. They probably didn't even recognize the significance of yves getting his back multiple times. Morons.
Sorry you lost homey, but I think all of that taking the back happened in the 2nd round, which is probably the one they gave to Yves.

I don't understand your response. As I see it, stomps are (probably deservedly) banned for safety reasons. It's not about required skill.
