Munoz struggled against catone, but catone is a d1 wrestler himself. Munoz is tough as nails and I think that showed in his close fights even though some saw it as him being exposed.
Okami has fought a single d1 wrestler in Sonnen and he got beat down pretty convincingly. Munoz isn't Sonnen and I agree its a close fight but my money is on munoz as the dog.
1.0u Munoz
Riddle is huge for 170. He is only 24 and this is his 6th fight in the UFC. He looks better every fight. His wrestling is more then enough to dominate DJ on the ground which is where I see the fight going.
1.5u Riddle
other bets
.5u Vlady
2.5u Ellenberger
.5u Pokrajac
Luke,
If you think Okami was good at -140 (58%) that means you give Munoz a 42% chance to win. Since the current odds on Munoz are +175 (giviing him only a 36% chance) you should be betting on Munoz.
I know that is not your system, that you only bet 50% or more dogs... still, you think Munoz has value.
.
I agree Munoz has value but I still think he loses so it's a no bet for me
On a side note, why don't you guys take your Okami love and shove it up your anuses? Have you considered that as a possible solution?
lol thats someone whos having doubts about his bet

I liek the bets on Vlad and Pokrajac. I might drop something very small on Vlad as well.
I was considering Riddle for a while, but talked myself out of it because of the Osipzac fight. Riddle was not able to do anything at all against Nick's long legged closed guard. DeMarques has a similar build. Nick also swept Riddle.
DeMarques beat Osipzac on TUF.
I think Riddle has improved some, and DeMarques' striking is not as good as Osipzac's... and Riddle may even have an advantage there because of his power. If things are going well, he could just keep it standing, so that is an advantage as well.
Maybe you are right... Riddle has been working his bjj, and he just needs to avoid Demarques' triangle (which is really his only offense from guard).
For my part, I'm really on the fence here. As it stands, my Okami bet is still out there, but I'm nervous about it, especially after losing on Akiyama the last time around.
I am not sure of exactly who is who, but pretty sure Luke and/or Zak have troll accounts. Is IWS the only forum the users get trolled by the mods more than vice versa?
Also Luke and/or Zak like to post news articles and randomly insert the names of mildly famous people and ot comment on it at all. I actually fell for it once when I thought Michael Dudikoff worked for the boxing commission for some random State like Missouri. I didn't think it was the man himself, just a coincidence, until I realized that Luke/Zak edited the article before posting it. I guess it is pretty funny.
The troll accounts though... that/s just weird. It might actually only be me you and Luke/Zak on the forum.

Any other thoughts? Anyone?
I'm tempted to bet on Damarques at +190. I could definitely see him sweeping or subbing Riddle if Riddle tried to make this a ground fight. I don't see a big difference in the standup.
On the other hand, I have done well in the past with my policy of not betting against top-control wrestlers.
