Mac Danzig was pulled from his bout with Matt Wiman with an unknown injury. Danzig was expected to face Wiman in a rematch of their controversial bout at UFC 115. Efrain Escudero was then moved up from the undercard to face Wiman in the co main event but Wiman broke his arm while training. Escudero will now face Charles Oliveira still in the co main event

This is in a few days! Lots of MMA lately. I am pretty sure Marquardt is going to get it done but I think @ close to +200 Palhares is worth a small play but I haven't touched it yet. Marquardt has stated he is still not over the Sonnen loss, so he might be weird in this fight..he could be experiencing Frank Mir syndrome (obsessed with losing to Brock).

The greek has Drwal -170 and Branch +140. If the rest of the books have this line I will be all over Branch.

NM isn't over his Chael Sonnen fight? He was upset that he couldn't counter his wrestling when he thought he had the ability to do it because he wasn't fighting him like he should fight a wrestler. I think he also stated that he has been working on his wrestling more because of that. That does not bode well for Palhares.

Anyone know Palhares BJJ credentials? Is he accomplished? I know he is nasty on the ground but Nate has competed in ADCC and has a lot of wins by Sub.


Nate seems like he is improving a lot as a fighter. Just because he lost to Sonnen doesn't mean he stinks now. He gashed Sonnens head open and almost choked him out. He just couldn't stop the takedown. His previous three fights he won via KO/TKO. Those are 3 of his 7 total career ko/tkos. To me this means improvement. Especially since those last 3 are the hardest to get..they are in the ufc.
