Whats the difference in everyone calling for Liddell to retire but not Jardine.They've both lost a lot fights in a row and both been KO'd way to many times .I was serious he needs to retire. Of course he wont because Dana doesnt pay his fighters shit so they all need to fight until 45 to survive.So nevermind keep fighting and end up brain dead

Age does mean jack in fighting you should know better than that ,its the amount of damage you have taken in your career

Hopkins is 45 and keeps fighting because he is a defensive fighter and has never been KO'd or taken much damage fighting.Fernando Vargas was a brawler (much like Jardine) and retired at age 30 because he had been in so many wars he was shot.

If you dont think someone that was 13-2 at one point and has since went 2-6 , been KO'd 4 times in 3 years ,and is also 35 needs to retire I dont know what else to say....

Oh, if Jardine is still good enough to last a few rounds with Bader and Hamill, he could still earn a few bucks beating up clowns in local promotions. If he really wants to be ambitious, there are promotions like Impact FC and Moosin that could use him.

Otherwise, he could try to find work as a professional pistachio sheller.

It's not like any of us are out there fighting for a living. I give respect to those who do. Shit, I don't even like to get hit once. Fighters who go out there and do it for a living deserve their props. It's very rare that I'll talk a lot of shit on a fighter. Even "low-level" guys are fucking bad asses.

How many KOs does it take to make a person retarded? I've always been under the impression that it's more about the number of blows taken as a whole as opposed to the number of KOs.

I mean, how many punchy MMA fighters are there? Any?

Everytime you get KO'd it causes a small amount of damage to the brain. If those concussions are close together or over and over it can cause severe brain damage . You should watch this:
