Liddell was winning against Rashad before the KO and he was clearly beating Rich before the KO. I think Liddell's skills are still there, it's just that his chin is fucked.

Besides, Tito would gas. Did you see him in round 3 of the Griffin fight?

Yeah, Dana would give Liddell a high-paying job within the UFC as an executive-assistant-producer-manager-of-doing-jack-shit before he would let Chuck take a fight in another organization.

I do think Chuck would beat Tito again if that fight happened. Not that I want to see it.

Speaking of these old dudes, what's next for Randy after the Toney fight? Aren't they kind of running out of guys he can beat?

The thing with Jardine is that I don't think he was ever a very good fighter. Even his last two wins were split decisions. He got overrated early and then matched with a long string of guys he shouldn't have been fighting.

They can feed Jardine to Randy. He can fight a guy like Vlad after he loses to Jones. Maybe let him fight a guy like Krystoff. Then if he wins all those he can end his career on a titleshot and get knocked out again.

As for Jardine, yeah, the Vera fight could really go either way. I thought he beat Liddell decisively though.

I have no idea whats next for Randy. I think he has 3 more fight on his contract after the Toney fight.I'm guessing the last fight will be for the title so he has 2 more fights to fight some bum and win

Liddell can still beat any non-striker. His formula was always about beating guys that were trying to take him down. He started struggling around the time guys stopped trying to take him down.

The only straight-up KO that he has on his record is a KO-via-slam against Evan Tanner at UFC 30, which is a fight I did not see.

Well his last real win was over 4 years ago, when he beat Forrest- I am not counting wins over Shamrock. Entire careers have been built since April 2006.

As far as I know, Tito has never even dropped someone with a punch.

I kind of agree with Rashad though... Tito won that second round because he didn't get taken down, which would not have happened had he not grabbed the fence. For all we know, Rashad would have gotten the takedown and pounded him out. Anything that happened after the fence grab was in an alternate dimension where Tito was not on his back.
