A couple things, I had an ok night but I once again didn't stick with my instincts. I bet Ortiz like an ass. Neck surgery, layoff, fighting a better wrestler. Sometimes I do shit that is dumb. My original plan was Jake shields via Decision and Cain Velasquez. Anyways, I came out ahead a few units.

Shields at 170: I think he gassed tonight because he had to make the big drop for the first time in a while, his body will probably be better prepared for it next time because he has already dropped the muscle.

I don't think Shields will beat GSP. In fact I think Gsp would probably tko him. His standup is good and shields sucks, shields would be forced to stand with GSP too.

Takes a real POS to call someone out after he just got beat bad in a fight, just my opinion.


Anyone think Brock worked too hard on weight training for this fight and didnt work very hard on his cardio? I rewatched the fight and he looked tired in the first round . I know he was getting his ass beat but he was in the Carwin fight too and had plenty of energy come round 2.Maybe he knew he had to beat Cain fast or had no chance

I still haven't seen the fight, but I see that both Junkie and Sherdog gave the Stout/Taylor fight to Taylor.

I'd have to watch it again, but I didn't think he was gassed. I just thought he was getting his ass kicked. Getting hit in the head will do that to you.

I thought he looked gassed also . Lesnar got pounded for a full round against Carwin and still had plenty of energy in rd 2 .
