I was at s uper secret sportsbook (sorry can't tell you guys, no one knows about it even though it is one of the most well known books in Vegas), anyway, I was meeting my inside source there (can't tell you, but trust me, it's good). So he told me Pat Barry's wrestling is actually the best in the division. He is trying out for the olympics in Greco. But they are having trouble because his quads are so huge and his physique is so ripped that they can't get a singlet to fit him. My source tells me his quads are 31" and his calves are 20". He is going to wear a super suit to make it fair though.

Actually, that Sportsbook you speak of has started to only release lines right before events. That Sportsbook really is not the place to bet MMA in vegas any longer.

I personally have a new fave sportsbook in Vegas. They will take just about any reasonable bet.

I don't think anyone realized Leben was sick until the day of. Must have been one hell of a party. No but seriously I think they said he had been battling something for a few days and didn't sweat a drop in pre fight warm ups. Oh just my opinion so dont no one start WWIII again. Barry lost against Cro Cop because in Rd 1 when he was tagging him he was more worried about having sex with Cro Cop than beating him. I actually believe you about your source. But i just don't put that much weight on that kind of assessment. I have occasional inside info too, and there is a guy that used to post on my blog that trained at ATT. He used to give me inside info all the time and much of what was like what you said, "Josh Thomson is looking really sharp, he is in the gym all the time, he has been working takedowns, etc." Sometimes if you can get the inside info on an actual gameplan, that is really nice.

I had what I would call special insight, though not really inside info on a fight a couple weeks ago and I posted it (SF challengers). Sometimes I will have a little inside information on some on bjj guys, but it is generally the kind of training they have been doing and stuff like that. Since we don't know what the other guy is doing, it doesn't help that much IMO, so I rarely post too much about it.
