I see no reason that the books should want to take bets from winning bettors. If you regularly win money, they're almost certainly losing it. *Some* of that loss will effectively be coming off of other bettors (who are enticed to bet more because your bet allowed the book to shift the line) but by no means all of it.
The reason they don't kick people out more often is because it would look bad and discourage other betters to know that if they win they'll get booted. Also, even apparently solid bettors will sometimes go on tilt and lose it all, so patience on the part of the book can pay off. Bottom line is that if you're not hammering them hard for a lot of money, they're probably not going to do anything.
