No not really. It is a long yard, but it is shallow. It is only 1/3 acre. It only appraised for $255k. In my area, that is an average house. It is 2900 sqft, so a bit big... but you have to remember, I live in BFE. There is no demand for real estate.

Market is way down. But rental properties have some value in them. My friend bought this cheap duplex. He rent's out both sides. He told me dealing with renters sucks though.

Yeah, would never want to rent. I have dealt with too many nightmare cases. I can sell my house. Houses usually sell in about 3-4 months here. I live in a desirable area of town, so I can sell. Rentimg is fine if that is your business, but it is a job, not an investment. You are going to be working and there is a lot of risk.

I remember when I got my first credit card. $1500 limit . . . 11 years later and the limit is still $1500.

I maxed it out and then got my second credit card. $1000 limit that was later raised to $2000. Then they raised my APR to some crazy fucking shit like 28% so I closed the account.

Why did I get the second card? So I could get a Playstation 2.

No need for a credit card for you. Sometimes it makes sense for people for convenience and cash back rewards and stuff... but no, you don't need to get a shitty CC to build your credit.
