No, I think GSP's as good as ever, if not better than he was 3 years ago, but he's been insistent on playing it safe ever since the first Serra fight.

I think that when he sits down to gameplan his fights he and Jackson ask themselves, What can we do that will both maximize the possibility of winning and minimize the possibility of losing? While that's certainly "smart," it definitely leads to approaches that aren't particularly exciting or dynamic. The GSP that knocked out Hieron and armbarred Hughes would've probably run through Shields and finished him. But he's terrified now of getting caught by a "lucky" punch or, in Shields' case, ending up in a surprise sub.

So it is what it is. I wonder if he actually lost a couple of fights if we'd see him turn up the aggression a little.

He couldn't just talk to him in Toronto?...on a sidenote, does anyone think GSP is past his prime? or is it just that he was afraid of getting taken down by shields. His striking last night consisted of jabs, overhands, superman punches, and spinning back kicks. He was hesitant in throwing leg kicks for fear of being taken down, he refused to throw a cross, straight, hook, etc.

Dana White told Helwani he is flying to Stockton this week to talk to Nick Diaz.

So is it just me, or is no one talking about this today? I figured we had plenty of post-event discussion to do.

Scientist, why the fuck haven't you chimed in today? You weren't even here to give us your thoughts in real-time.

So seriously, I wonder how how much the rate of Steven Seagal movie rentals and downloads is going to increase over the next week.

So I guess Scientist jizzed in his pants when Machida kicked Couture in the face. I don't think he could've hoped for any greater obliteration of Randy than that.

For fucking real. I think it was literally the best event that I've EVER had, in terms of the number of bets I won, the fact that I had no losses, and the the amount of money I actually picked up.

If only I had manned up and put enough on everyone to win at least a unit then I'd be on the + side of things. As it stands, I need to win another bet. We'll give it a shot at Bellator and see how it goes.

On top of that my Bendo and Garza bets were with Bodog so I finally have a little money freed up there.

I am so happy with this card. This basically pulled me out of a 20 unit hole

I did not see that interview, but I'll have to check it out.

I'd like to know what's been going on with Steven Seagal and these guys behind the scenes.

1 is an accident, 2 is a trend. did you see his interview with Helwani post fight? He said he was screaming for Lyoto to "do the kick". LMAO

He is either a genius, or the biggest troll in the history of martial arts.
