I slightly favor Story... but you guys are acting like Nate is dead in the water here. Just take Story by decision, because he is not finishing Nate. Nate may be able to schuck off the takedowns at WW. Story comes bum rushing in, Marqy could easily Maia him.

well if you think the fight is a pick 'em and you get either guy at + odds I think that's a steal.

I wouldn't bet him. BUt he has other ways to win besides Story walking into a punch. Story is basically going to try to nullify his offense with his cage pressing and ground and pound. He is probably going to be able to do it, but Marquart threatened bigger better wrestlers than Story in the transitions. That said, his wrestling is just not up to snuff, and he loses to guys that pressure him, which is what Story is going to do. I think Story will win, but I don't think it is a walk in the park by any means.

I would have Taken Story at +140, but the best line that was available out of the times I checked was +110, so I figured id wait for the prop.

I put him at about -150, so even at -135 where he is now, he is still bettable for me. I probably won't, but maybe. I would have taken him for sure @ +odds.

Im looking for Story by decision also but I feel at the current price it's probably going to come out around -120

If I can get Even odds on the decision prop, I will probably bet it. I really can't see Story getting a finish here.

I just watched Marquardt/Okami yesterday and Marquardt was able to get Okami to his back for awhile as well. I can see him getting on top of Story...Alves took him down and did so at one or two points in their fight, and I think Hathaway was able to get on top as well. I still think Story will win though.

I think it is a competive fight. Now that you mention it, I probably won't bet it at all.

Yeah, if Marquardt is huge @ WW and is still pretty strong, I can see him getting Story a few times as well. Both guys are tough to finish, I'd bet the decision prop if the line isn't dumb. Marquardt cost himself the fight against Okami imo, he only lost the first round because he took Okami down, when they finally scrambled, Marquardt went for a half assed guillotine and fell to his back and Okami ended up on top and got to work his game. Round 2 was Marquardt's due to getting Okami down and landing some big left hooks on the feet. Marquardt got Okami down briefly in round 3 but Okami spent almost the whole time in the round backing Marquardt up against the cage and outstriking him. So basically I think if Story gets a little careless (he usually does), Marquardt might tie him up and get him down and steal a round or 2.

I'll be on Marquardt here. Let's not forget that Story fought less than a month ago and will only be getting maybe a 2 week camp in. U guys are acting like marquardt is a bum. Dude has good offensive wrestling and has only really been wrestle fucked by sonnen which is what happens to every1. I woulda snagged Marquardt at plus 120 if i knew that he got so high.

Well Marq will have the same amount of time to prepare for Story as story will have to prepare for Marq. I don't know who should be favored here but as everyone seems to agree Story should only win by dec here. I have to wonder if Nate can go the distance here though, he gassed in the Okami fight. Now he has to cut to 170? I'm sure he was on roids before so maybe he can quit them and lose some muscle. Thats the only thing that would make it seem feasible to me. Otherwise how would he lose the muscle?? Not eating at all? Story might be able to wear him down. Though Nate could constantly drop for guillotines if Story pushes him up against the fence. I think Nate might be able to sweep Story/Catch him with a sub in a scramble. My point being he just doesnt have to try to push off the cage to avoid the takedown and gas himself out. Anyways I don't know who wins but Nate is crafty. He almost ko'd and subbed Chael BTW. He gashed his head open and almost had the choke on him, as per Chael Sonnen.

I am pretty sure he swept Okami, maybe more than once. I'm not positive, I would have to rewatch the fight. I would not be suprised to see Nate win. I might bet it too if he hits +170 or so.
