yeah same here. Dans striking isn't really that great either. It is hard to tell who wins the striking though. Neither one is really that great.

His striking has never looked great, but he does have decent leg kicks. He stood with Hendo for 3 rounds, he lost, but he didn't get knocked out. He is short and Dan is kind of tall though, so Dan will probably jab him a lot. Miller lost a striking affair to pre-TRT Maia though. So... yeah.

I would not say it is a sudden shift, I always thought Palhares would win, but I just thought Miller was a live dog. I guess I started asking myself who Miller has ever beat that is even close to as good as Palhares. His best win is probably Horwich or Rosholt. But you are probably right, I should leave him out because he does gas out.

I just watched an interview with Big Nog and he claims he is 100% and all that stuff, but he also said he rushed his rehab to fight on this card and that if he didn't rush his rehab he'd have fought in October.

Ive always thought big nog has had decent hands. Its his lack of head movement, no power and no speed that has doomed him standing.

Scientist, why the sudden shift on Palhares? When has his striking looked great? He lost the first round against Dave Branch according to sherdog. I know he is good but I could see Miller sprawling and brawling and pulling out a decision.

edman if you haven't noticed by now but scientist always suggests both sides of a fight before the event. Then come fight night the only bet he makes is -2000 or higher.

Big nog should be around 230. he was 245 when he faced mir and thats probably the worst he looked.

I wouldn't say he looks fat at all. He looks big in the arms and chest but he doesn't look fat at all.

How does added weight(muscle or fat) help an aging fighter who is slowing down and just had major hip surgery.

Ok at the weigh ins Minotauro looks REALLY soft around the edges. I don't think he's in shape.
