Funny, most people who seem to know Schaub actually say he is a real cool guy.

He probably is, I don't dislike him for any real reason. For some reason he just annoys me in the same way that CB Dolloway annoys me. For no reason other than his face just makes me want to see it get punched. I guess it was sort of laughable when he was telling the UFC to stop giving him fat wrestlers (even though he was only 2 fights removed from getting KO'd by a fat wrestler) and it sort of obnoxious how he does that shoulder brush off thing like a 15 year old freshman football player. And he does keep calling guys out that are way past their primes. But really, it is my own personal issue with his face.

As for donating MT gear to the Favalas... that has no effect on me. Actually, it seems like a really poor choice of charity in the grand scheme of things. I mean, I want poor kids to be able to fight each other as much as anyone, but probably would not make it my life's work...

It just seems like the guy can not get a break. But Barry is a huge fan favorite because he takes funny pictures of himself in his underwear.

I try my best to not get attached to these guys on a personal level all together because I fear it might cloud my judgement when it comes to their fights.

Yea i read that story last night. What editor would approve that picture?...And I fully expect Schaub to call out former ufc champs randy couture or mark coleman in a number one contender match if he wins tomorrow.

I really don't mind Schaub, like I said I just find him indescribably annoying. There is no reason, it is not fair.

We have the discussion all the time about being fans vs. bettors... I just don't have the attention span to follow the sport closely enough unless I am fan. I definitely have my attachments, and they definitely cloud me. But it is the price I pay for staying interested.

I don't have one. Not Schaub by Sub is -13000 or so, it is not worth it, even though it is a lock. The $12 I would get from betting on it is not worth the stress. Just going to wait for the next event... that is the beauty of the 2011 parlay, there is no rush.

Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami- Anderson is Anderson, Okami has a path to victory of course, but it has been tried before.
Mauricio Rua vs. Forrest Griffin - I don't see why this is any different than the first fight.
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub- Nogueira is 50.
Ross Pearson vs. Edson Barboza- striker/striker, one guy has kicks.
Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov- Don't think Nedkov will get through his hands
Spencer Fisher vs. Thiago Tavares- Fisher has had trouble with top oriented grapplers, Tavares will bully him.
Rousimar Palhares vs. Dan Miller- Palhares is better everywhere, except cardio. He has done 3 rounds though.
Raphael Assuncao vs. Johnny Eduardo- wild guess.
Paulo Thiago** vs. David Mitchell- Two different classes of fighter here, Thiago has him beat everywhere, he will stop him and with style.
Yuri Alcantara vs. Felipe Arantes- Alcantara can finish this anywhere it goes. Looked impressive against higher level of comp. He will overwhelm Arantes early.
Erick Silva vs. Luis Ramos- just going with sbjj here, I didn't look hard at this one.
Yves Jabouin vs. Ian Loveland- grappler/striker, I am going with the grappler

The way I see it is that there's a lot more to the MMA game than just betting. If you don't allow yourself to be a fan then you miss out on a lot of the fun.
