I would love that. I don't think a prime Hughes could beat Koscheck though.

Thats the funny thing. A prime Hughes was still not the wrestler that KOS is. Hughes was a great fighter for his time. But times change.

I tend to think the same thing... although Hughes was an AA himself. Really the difference between the guy that takes 1st and the guy that takes 5th is just inches, indiscernible once applied in MMA IMO. But Koscheck has shown that his takedowns work in MMA. He has shown better submission defense than Hughes (Re: GSP) and he sure as hell has shown better striking. He is just better. Even his guard is better than Hughes. GSP had Kos on his back a bunch in the first fight. When Hughes gets put on his back he just eats some many punches.

I actually think Hughes gaurd sucks. he thinks he is some sort of submission machine when he is on his back and forgets to protect his face. I actually se NO advantage anywhere for Hughes. Unless GSP took the life out of KOS. But KOS seems to really be up for his return.

I might just parlay KOS with my other bets...Boetsch, maybe Escovedo, Rothwell, and Browne.

Agreed, I don't see how Hughes wins barring a miracle shot. Agree Hughes' guard sucks. He has a good top game and solid passing, Kos is not going to let himself get held down.

I was looking for a 2 fight parlay, but I can't come up with another bet on the card that fits the mold. I might just parlay him with Boetch, but I already made my Boetch bet. I would like to go heavier on Koscheck... I don't know. Maybe I will just do Koscheck ITD. I really don't like betting distance props though. I am not good at them and I feel too much chance is involved.

Well, who do you see as the cleanest lock out of the other favorites? Because I was thinking of doing the same thing.

                Medium size bet on Boetsch.

Small plays on Gomi and Escovedo.

And a Medium size parlay bet of KOS and...

I can't find another one, that is the problem. I was thinking about Ferguson, but that is more just that I don't think Riley is very good. Ferg needs to fight someone real before I am willing to bet him at -300. So I would say Boetch is next up, but I don't feel that it is a "lock" given that he has only looked good once.

Oh, and "Not Koscheck by submission" is only -280. I might do a that + some for a mini magic parlay. I can get almost even odds on not kos, jones, broughton, gomi by sub. Obviously any one of those could happen (except I feel pretty strongly that Gomi won't submit Diaz)... but at even odds...

Koscheck/Boetch is -105 I think I might just do that. I thin Ferguson is going to win easily too, but just nervous about betting him when he has not fought anyone at all.

Second fight, and I remember Kos took him down at least once while they were against the fence but GSP was able to immediately get back up.
