I think so... I think this is a close fight. I do think Wiman is going to win though. I am with you, I don't see why it should be anything other than even.

Anybody think Danzig is worth a bet? The line is weird. But then again, Danzig does have trouble with top control guys, which is something Wiman should come to do

Agree that Wiman's line is off.

Does anyone NOT think that Barry is going to KO struve easily?
I bet Brenneman and Barry pretty much as soon as the lines came out.

Struve is young and more likely to have improved since his last fight. One of these days, maybe he'll show up for a fight suddenly knowing how to use his reach, like Jones did against Shogun. But the most likely outcome is Barry KO-ing him and I'm happy with those odds.

I really think AJ will look better in this fight. The koscheck fight was weird. Koscheck faked injuries and probably got inside AJ's head. With his new coaches and camp, I expect him to have a gameplan and be well prepared.

Brenneman benefited from facing story who was ill prepared to face a persistent offensive wrestler and had just come off a fight 3 weeks prior. Not to mention Brenneman was fighting close to home.

I'll have to rewatch brenn vs hendricks and brenn vs high if i can find them

Actually, now that I have a moment to think about it- I was thinking of Frye/Takayama.

AJ's best win is Yoshida. Yoshida > Baroni > Ryo Chonan > Anderson Silva > Cote > Almeida > Grant > Burns > AJ > Hardy

Trotterz...I think I am gonna follow on that parlay. I need to start doing more 2-3 fight parlays across cards.

Re: Brenneman- yeah it is not a lock or anything, but it is +160. I actually expect him to win, so I think +160 is great deal. But I wouldn't be suprised at all to see AJ KO him. The Koscheck/AJ fight is what makes me think Brenneman can do it. Brenneman is good because he is still fully committed to takedowns. I actually think "1-dimensional" guys are sometimes better before they learn to strike. Maia is a good example. When they are desperate to go to the ground, you can't hit them very well... I actually think Maia was better before he could strike. Now he gives up too easily on the takedown. Brenneman is fully committed to that takedown. At least he was vs. Story. He took Hendricks down too and took a round off him. If he can take Johny and Story down, I think he will get AJ down too. That said, he got clipped several times by Story and Hendricks knocked him out. Aj is more versatile on his feet so he could definitely do it. But at +160, I think it is worth a bet.

I mean, who is AJ's best win? He has never beaten anyone good. Hardy is his best win. Brenneman has won more fights and against better fighters. And he has never lost to Rich Clementi or Kevin Burns.

I am thinking about doing a parlay of Cruz/GSP/Weidman for about even odds. I see no way any of those guys could lose their fights

For brenneman, It is a risky bet since he will be much smaller than johnson, and johnson can wrestle too(not as good as brenneman thought). Johnson stand up is way better than brenneman. On the other hand, if brenneman comes in and try to take AJ down for like 1 full round. Even if he doesn't get it, AJ is probably going to be extremely tired after 1 round of defending the TD. His cardio is not the best that is for sure. And brenneman will have no problem taking down a tired AJ in the later rounds.

    ^ just for reference

I don't know much about Sass other than he likes to triangle guys. I know he had to pull guard in his first UFc fight, I don't think that will work on a strong wrestler like Johnson. BUt Johnson is not that good standing, so I don't know. Johnson will probably win, but I really haven't seen enough of the other parts of Sass's game to form an opinion.

Scientist, any thoughts on the sass vs johnson fight? Sass seems pretty slick on the ground and will do anything he can to get it there
