Weren't you just chastising Maia the other day for no longer being one dimensional and working on other skillsets?

In the fight. But I think he needs to train other stuff too. I will criticize Barry if comes out and looks to grapple. With Maia it is more that I feel he has lost his committment to the takedown. He used just keep trying to drag it down no matter what, eventually, he would get it there one way or the other. Now, if he doesn't get it, he is just lijke "ok fuck it, we can stand."

Bit hypocritical aren't you scientist? Don't hear you bashing Johnny H. for standing and trading when he's an all-american wrestler

I think he "uses" his wrestling in the most effective way for him depending on who he's fighting. He does plenty of takedowns, he just doesn't have ver good top control, so guys are getting up a lot... he uses his wrestling plenty though. If Hendricks was fighting a kickboxer, I would be calling for takedowns. I am sure he would have taken Amir down had he not caught him right off the bat. Other than that, he has fought all wrestlers and BJJ stylists. He has won most of his fights against non-wrestlers with takedowns. That's how he beat Grant and Funch.

There is a chance Barry/Struve is gonna be a weird ass fight. Barry and Struve are friends and have been joking around with each other all day on twitter and shit like that. I won't be surprised to see a bunch of high fives and hugs in this fight.

SBJJ (and whoever else looks at this fight), let me know what you think about Watson/Sandoval. Personally I think Watson has the edge, his biggest weakness seems to be his T3D and he appears to be vulnerable to guys who get inside and just blitz him. Sandoval doesn't seem like that type of fighter at all.

Really it is more that I don't like Roller. Grant did pretty well against Hendricks and Almeida... I think there is a good chance he can catch roller standing or with knees. He has traditionally struggled with grapplers though, so I don't know, maybe it is a bad play. But at +170 or whatever it was, I am not too concerned about it. I think it is more like 50/50.
