The more I think about it the less I believe this story about being hooked to fluids. The average IV bag of saline is about 2.2lbs(1000ml, or 1kg). If he was at 186.5 that means they put just under five 1000ml bags of saline in his ass.

I am sure he was given a lot of fluids. That doesn't excuse him being that dehydrated for a weight cut 15 pounds above his usual weight cut. He is 27 pounds heavier than his usual weight cut (well since he comes in 7 pounds heavy every fight, it is only abot 20 pounds). It means he waited until the day before the fight to actually start cutting... its just discipline. I hope they cut him tbh. But 10lbs worth? Thats a shit ton of saline which either means he tried to cut a ton the day of weigh ins/didn't start until the day before or had some kind of injury. I ain't heard shit about him being injured. In fact all I heard about him was how good the cut was going and how easy it was for him.

I agree. What this shows is he just doesn't give a fuck about making weight in any division. I kind of wish they would throw a heavyweight at him just so he knows what it's like to have the shit beaten out of him by someone bigger than he is like he's been doing for a while now. Anyone who can go through training camp for a middleweight fight and still come in at 197lbs shouldn't have been fighting at 170lbs to begin with.
