That Omigawa/Alcantara fight BARELY made it past 2.5 rounds counting in that armbar in the 1st. I was going nuts when I thought that the ref. stopped it.

Omigawa tapped. Also, the ref stopped it and then said, oh nevermind. BS. Reffing was atrocious last night.

Just because his hand bounced once against his leg or whatever does not mean that he tapped.

It looked like he tapped to me, but on the replay it was questionable. But it looked like the ref waived off the fight, technical submission. Then when he saw Omigawa was ok, he just pretended like he didn't do it.

He didn't tap so much as try to move the leg to help his position. It looked like he wanted to turn and stack Alcantara up to defend the armbar but couldn't quite do it before the arm was extended.

Regardless of whether he tapped or not, I made it out of that event with + units. Thank goodness.
