Even with all their injuries the Steelers statistically are a superior team to the Vikings. Hate taking a road team that's 0-3 trying to breakthrough on the road against what was a playoff team last year, but I'm in no way interested in backing a Vikings team with major questions at QB (unlike the Steelers). So:
10 *KANSAS CITY over New York
Late Score Forecast:
*KANSAS CITY 31 - New York Giants 16
The Giants were a desperate 0-2 when they lost the game they had to win last week. Now, they must face reality.
Cover up the names of the teams in this game and the choice is easy. One team is 0-3, is rushing for only 44 ypg,
and has committed 13 turnovers. The other team is 3-0, has one of the top RBs in the league (Jamaal Charles),
and has committed ZERO turnovers. On defense, the first team has only 3 sacks and 2 ints. for the season. The
second team has 15 sacks and 4 interceptions. The first team, of course, is the head-scratching Giants; the
second is the rejuvenated Chiefs, who enjoy extra prep time and a rowdy crowd that has been hungering for a
contender. New K.C. coach Andy Reid is well-familiar with the G-Men from his days in Philly. And he’s got the
personnel with his new team (LB Justin Houston leads the NFL with 7½ sacks) to extend New York’s misery.
NINE-RATED GAMES:
PITTSBURGH (-1; est.) vs. Minnesota [in London]—Of these 0-3 teams, which do you expect to emerge triumphant? Never disrespect “Big Ben” in London.
