Ben Burns' *VERY EARLY* 2013 Turkey Day NFL ANNIHILATOR! (Won LY) Thursday~Total!
I'm playing on Green Bay and Detroit to finish UNDER the total. This season's first meeting was very low-scoring. It was 6-3 at halftime and the final was 22-9. With Rodgers expected to be out, I'm expecting another relatively low-scoring affair. While last week's game vs Minnesota produced 52 points, six of those were scored in overtime. That makes it four straight (and six of the last seven) GB games which saw 47 or fewer combined "regulation" points scored. The Lions have seen the UNDER go 13-6-1 the last 20 times that they played a game with an O/U line of greater than 49, an 8-3 UNDER mark their last 11 in that situation. That includes a 4-2 UNDER mark the last six games here at Detroit where the total was that high. Whether its a banged-up Rodgers, Tolzien or Flynn, the latter being the most likely, the Packers may be a little extra conservative here. With Stafford struggling recently, I believe the same can be said of the Lions. Speaking of Stafford struggling, note that he's never beaten them Packers. He's 0-6 with 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions against them, since entering the league in 2009. Stafford's one win against GB in his time with the team was led by then-backup Drew Stanton. I believe the number is generous. 9*
