Boston is clearly the better of these two teams right now. The Terriers returned nearly everyone
from last year's 17 win team. This is head coach Joe Jones best team since taking over the
Boston program three years ago. They took highly rated Harvard into overtime, beat some quality
teams on the road like UC Irvine, Quinnipiac and Maryland while also staying close versus St. Joe's
and George Washington. This is a quality team from a very small conference who if they played in
a better league would be getting a lot more recognition.
Speaking of a quality team from a lesser conference, the Leigh Mountain Hawks were just that
kind of squad the last few years as they posted back to back 20+ win season's. They lost a ton
though this year to graduation and it's clear they have fallen back to their pre-2012 levels. They
do have one nice win this season over Quinnipiac but that probably had more to do with the fact
the Bobcats shot an almost unheard of 0-16 in three pointers for the game. For the most part
Lehigh as got beaten soundly when they have stepped in class with a 2-6 record versus teams
rated in the top 200 this season. Those defeats for the most part weren't close one's either as
they five of the six losses came by eight points or more.
