    NCAA-F | Clemson vs Syracuse
    Play on: UNDER 58 -110

    Free Pick on Clemson UNDER
I think there's some great value here on the UNDER. The public has been pounding the OVER and it's jumped a few points in our favor. I believe that given the circumstances of this game, it will be a lot more low-scoring than people think.
This is a nationally televised prime time game. A chance for these kids to showcase their talent in front of big audience. For that reason I don't see Clemson taking this game lightly. Given what they have done to a lot better talent than what Syracuse has to offer, I think the Orange are going to find it very difficult to keep the offense on the field. I do think they can scrape together a first down or two, which is huge, cause that keeps the clocking moving for a longer period of time.
The key here is I don't think the Tigers offense is going to be looking to put up 50 on the Orange. Clemson starting QB Kelly Bryant is dinged up and while it's not serious enough to keep him out of this game, it's definitely going to impact the play calling. A lot less designed runs for Bryant and that less than 100% mobility could also make it difficult for him in the pocket.
Syracuse's defense has made some significant gains in year two under defensive coordinator Brian Ward and I don't think it's a fluke. Ward has proven his ability to turn around a defense at other schools and the Orange had 10 starters back. On top of that, we are going to get the very best they have to offer at home in a prime time game against the defending champs. Especially with how this team has hung around in previous weeks against LSU and NC State.
Keep in mind just a few weeks ago the Tigers found themselves in a 7-7 game at home in the 4th quarter. I think they can get off the field more than people think and wouldn't be shocked if they made a couple red zone stands and held Clemson to a field goal instead of a TD. To eclipse the total, these two have to average more than 2 TDs a quarter and I just don't see it happening. Take the UNDER!
