STELLA'S PRINCESS - This filly is in nice condition, having run a good race on Oct 26th, finishing first. This is a classic 'Lone Front-runner' scenario. If Felix gets him out of the gate cleanly it'll likely be smooth sailing. Ranks highest in earnings per start (EPS). A strong outing in this race can augment the lifetime bankroll. MAY BE SUSPECT - On Oct 11th this filly shipped in to win and looks good right back.

AWAY SHE GLOWS - Tough for anyone who saw this mount in her last race to wager on her this time around. Don't think this less than sharp equine will do much running today. That last speed rating was mediocre when compared with today's class figure. MY LITTLE DARLINGS - Hard to recommend any horse with deteriorating speed figures of 81/72/56. This mare showed little last time out of the box. Should be difficult for this horse to beat this bunch off of that last speed figure. Improbable to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's class rating, so put her on the vulnerable contenders list.

OLD DUDE - The Oct 30th event at Laurel was at a class level of (89). Dropping down the ladder based on class considerably, so he should be in a good position. Colt took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape. CAPTAIN MAD JACK - I like this gelding a lot here. He shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. I think this gelding is very fit right now. I like the fact that Connelly brings him back to a race so quickly. This horse didn't run well on a muddy track in his last race at Parx Racing. You probably want to disregard that showing.

Cavs are picked in middle of ACC pack; they’ve got 3 starters back from a 23-11 team. VCU scored 94.5 ppg in winning their first two games this year, by 29-10 points. Rams are picked 2nd in A-14. ACC favorites are 9-7 vs spread, 1-2 away from home; A-14 underdogs are 5-2.

Illinois-DePaul haven’t played in last 16 years, so this is a big deal locally. Illinois won its first two games in Underwood era, but beat Tenn-Martin only 77-74 in last game, after leading by 19 early in 2nd half; Illini starts two juniors, one senior- they’re picked 10th in Big 14, which is doubtful because Underwood is really good.
