Saturday CBB Free play. My selection is on Kansas State minus the points over Texas at 2 pm et on Saturday.
This is the opportunity for Kansas State to snap its long losing streak, noting that it will face Baylor and Kansas next leaving little chance to get back on track before the calendar quickly flips over to March. Texas has won just three games since January 18th and two of those came against in-state rival TCU. Texas is a miserable 2-8 ATS in a couple of key situations here, after a double-digit victory and after allowing 60 points or less this season. Look for the Wildcats to take advantage of the rare opportunity to host a winnable game in Big 12 action. Take Kansas State (8*).

Samford is one of the worst defenses in the country as they host ETSU on Saturday. The Bulldogs have allowed 80 or more nine times already in conference including giving up 88 to East Tennessee State just over a month ago. They are 333rd against the two and 326th against the three point shot. The question will be how much their offense can put up and I think they'll be able to get something going against a Bucs team that might be slightly hungover after a huge win over Furman at home. ETSU is ninth in 2pt% shooting 55.6% and is allowing opponents to shoot over 50% as well. On the road they've scored 85 at Western Carolina and 80 at Chattanooga. I just think we potentially get a less than focused effort early from the big favorite.

The Tar Heels are having a down year but have played plenty of close games. They were able to win at NC State by 10 and the Wolfpack were able to beat Duke by 22 in their building. UNC lost at Wake Forest but should be motivated against a Louisville team that is ranked high.
Cole Anthony has been erratic but can score as well as Garrison Brooks inside. Christian Keeling and Brandon Robinson should add 10 to 12 each and help UNC stay within 10 on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles aren’t nearly as fortune. They only have 2 days to get ready for Clemson after losing 65-78 at Virginia on Wednesday. They will also be playing their 3rd game in 7 days here. And they have two key players questionable with injuries in Derrick Thornton (13.1 PPG) and Jared Hamilton (8.0 PPG). Clemson is 7-0 ATS in its last 7 games off an upset win as an underdog. The Tigers are 6-0 ATS off 2 or more consecutive wins this season. The Eagles are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games after committing 8 or fewer turnovers last game. Take Clemson.

The Bulls are not much better at 1-7 ATS in their last eight games, but here they'll be looking to bounce back from a 103-93 loss to Charlotte on Thursday and they're 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a double-digit loss at home.
