NCAA-B | Clemson vs Boston College
Play on: Clemson -4 -108 at pinnacle

      Dave’s Saturday Free Play:
      1* on Clemson -4
The Key: The Clemson Tigers are coming off 2 straight impressive wins and playing up to their potential. They went into Pitt and won 72-52 as 3.5-point dogs before upsetting Louisville 77-62 as 4.5-point home dogs last Saturday. Now they have 6 days to rest and prepare for Boston College. The Eagles aren’t nearly as fortune. They only have 2 days to get ready for Clemson after losing 65-78 at Virginia on Wednesday. They will also be playing their 3rd game in 7 days here. And they have two key players questionable with injuries in Derrick Thornton (13.1 PPG) and Jared Hamilton (8.0 PPG). Clemson is 7-0 ATS in its last 7 games off an upset win as an underdog. The Tigers are 6-0 ATS off 2 or more consecutive wins this season. The Eagles are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games after committing 8 or fewer turnovers last game. Take Clemson.

        NBA | Nets vs Hornets
Play on: Nets -3 -115 at BMaker

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Brooklyn Nets -3
The Brooklyn Nets are playing their best basketball of the year. They are 6-3 SU & 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games overall. Their only losses were on the road in OT to the 76ers, by 1 to the Raptors and by 6 to the Wizards. They also upset the Pacers on the road and the Raptors at home. The Hornets are 19-36 on the season and 8-16 at home. The Nets are the team fighting for a playoff spot while the Hornets are not, so I trust Brooklyn more to show up tonight. The road team is 4-1 SU & 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Brooklyn is 9-2 ATS in its last 11 meetings in Charlotte. The Nets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite. Brooklyn is 4-0 ATS in its last four games off a loss. Charlotte is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games as a home underdog. Give me the Nets.

          NBA | Mavs vs Hawks
Play on: Mavs -6 -106 at pinnacle

          Mavericks
The Atlanta Hawks have been playing around .500 ball for over a month now, and their surge toward respectability on the court rests squarely on the shoulders of All-Star guard Trae Young. The dynamic point guard will try to follow up the first 50-point game of his career with another gem when he leads the Hawks into a matchup with the visiting Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
The Mavericks burst out of the All-Star break with an impressive 122-106 win at Orlando on Friday. All-Star guard Luka Doncic scored 33 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out eight assists as Dallas improved to 15-8 against Eastern Conference teams.
Doncic was sidelined and Young left early with a sprained ankle in the Mavericks' 123-100 win over the Hawks earlier this month. Dallas PF Kristaps Porzingis is getting hot and scored 24 points Friday and is averaging 27.9 over his last seven games.
Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. Hawks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win.
Dallas gets the road win and cover on Saturday!

NCAA-B | Alabama vs Ole Miss
Play on: Ole Miss -2½ -110 at 5Dimes

Jack’s Free Pick Saturday: Ole Miss -2.5
The Ole Miss Rebels have been grossly undervalued here in the meat of the SEC schedule. They have gone just 4-4 SU but 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall with their only point spread loss coming in a 68-71 defeat at Missouri as 1.5-point dogs.
Off tough back-to-back road losses at Kentucky by 5 and at Missouri by 3, the Rebels should be highly motivated for a win when they return home Saturday. The Rebels are 3-1 SU & 4-0 ATS in their last four home games with their only loss coming to Auburn 82-83 (OT). They beat Mississippi State by 25, Florida by 17 and South Carolina by 14 in their other three home games.
Alabama has really come back down to reality here down the stretch. The Crimson Tide are 2-5 SU in their last seven games overall. That includes upset home losses to Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas A&M. I give them little chance to even be competitive in this game tonight.
Ole Miss is 16-3 SU in its last 19 home meetings with Alabama. The Rebels are 19-10 ATS in all home games over the last two seasons. Alabama is 38-65 ATS in its last 103 games as a road underdog of 6 points or less or PK. The Rebels are 17-3 ATS vs. teams who make 8 or more 3-point shots per game over the last two seasons. Bet Ole Miss Saturday.

              NBA | 76ers vs Bucks
              Play on: UNDER 227 -110

Take Under the Total in the game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Philadelphia (35-21) has four straight games with their 112-104 win over Brooklyn on Thursday as an 8-point favorite. The 76ers go back on the road where they have played 8 of their last 11 games Under the Total. Philadelphia has also played 9 of their last 10 games Under the Total against teams with a winning percentage over 60%. Milwaukee (47-8) comes off a 126-106 win at Detroit on Thursday. The Bucks have then played 15 of their last 19 games at home Under the Total after a win on the road by double-digits. Milwaukee has also played 8 of their last 9 games Under the Total after a win on the road by at least 20 points. Take the Under. Best of luck — Frank.

Saturday free play is Louisville over North Carolina.

On Wednesday night I gave you a 75 Dime winner on the Cardinals as they shook off their 2 game losing streak - both on the ACC road - as they came home and absolutely buried Syracuse by a 90-66 score. That win improved Chris Mack's team to 15-1 straight up at the KFC Yum! Center on the year and they have made good against the spread in 3 of their last 4 on their home hardwood.

The same night the 'Ville was busy mopping the floor with the Orange, North Carolina was busy squandering a second half double-digit lead as they got beat at the buzzer by Notre Dame in South Bend, 77-76. That marked the 6th straight loss for Roy Williams' team and the second loss in as many games right at the buzzer as the Tar Heels lost by a basket to Virginia the game prior.

I doubt seriously that UNC gets up of the deck after back-to-back heartbreakers. That being the case, go ahead and lay the home wood with Louisville as the Redbirds are right there in the mix for the regular season ACC title after seeing the Duke Blue Devils get buried at N.C. State earlier this week.

The teams split the regular season pair of series meetings a season ago, but UNC did take the conference tournament meeting by an 83-70 score as the -7 point favorite.

At just 10-16 on the year, suffice it to say everyone is getting their licks in on the Heels in this down season under Old Roy.

Louisville names it over North Carolina.

                1* LOUISVILLE

My free play for Saturday is on the Arizona State Sun Devils, laying a cheap number to the Oregon State Beavers in Pac 12 play.

This suddenly has become a very fun league to watch, as we are beginning to see a traffic jam atop the standings, especially with the Sun Devils coming on strong of late.

Arizona State (18-8) has won six straight and rolls in near the top of the conference with a 9-4 mark. The Devils have won 11 of 13 at home including their last five, and analytically speaking have improved. Their numbers aren't glaring this season, but it's their defense that has made them successful.

Coach Bobby Hurley has his troops playing exceptionally well, ranking 57th in the nation with 7.8 steals per game, while their turnover margin of +2.9 ranks 32nd in the country.

Arizona State boasts a kid named Remy Martin, and I'll have a drink to his play any day of the week. This kid is fun to watch, and won't face any true stoppers on Oregon State's roster. He has registered 15 20-point games this season and posted seven straight - averaging 24.3 points in those games - at one point. Martin ranks second in the Pac-12 at 19.56 points per game.

There is also the physical presence of Romello White, who ranks second in the Pac-12 in rebounding at 9.32 per game and is second in field-goal percentage (.607). His 13 double-digit rebounding games leads the league.

The unranked Devils are in after a momentous and confidence-building win over No. 14 Oregon in its 77-72 on Thursday. They not only have Martin and their regular starters, but Arizona State has the best bench in the Pac-12, with its reserves averaging 24.3 points per game - the number one mark in the conference.

Take Arizona State tonight, as it rolls past OSU.

                  2* ARIZONA STATE

                    Mitchell Newman

Comp play for Saturday will come in the NBA as I back the Milwaukee Bucks at home against the poor-traveling Philadelphia 76ers.

Both teams came out of the break with wins on Thursday night as the Bucks drilled the Pistons in Detroit, while the Sixers made a dramatic comeback without the services of Ben Simmons and pulled out a home overtime win and cover over the Brooklyn Nets to make it a 26-2 mark on their home court.

While Philly's home court mark is sparkling, things get very muddy and murky when the 76ers pack their bags and head out on the road. The Sixers are just 9-19 on the road this season and that includes a 112-101 loss on Milwaukee's home floor earlier this month.

The Bucks are 25-3 straight up at home this season and they come into this game with 3 straight covers and covers in 4 of their last 5 on their home floor. That mark includes the early February win and cover over the 76ers who have now lost 11 of their last 13 away from the City of Brotherly Love straight up and have just a 7-19-2 against the spread road record for the season to date.

Ben Simmons is expected to be back for this one, but after needing a miracle to win on Thursday at home, I suspect we see another flat road effort from the perplexing Philly crew.

Lay it with the Bucks on Saturday night.

                    2* MILWAUKEE
