BERRY HILL - I just may give this one a good shot. Should rebound off last race where he did run out of the money, but was within 5 lengths at the finish. Stretching a horse out to a route after two sprints is a classic training maneuver. GOOFY BOY - I surely see favorable signs for this steed right here. BOLTER - Sub-par outing last out at Delaware Park was due to the off-going (he finished fifth). Expect better right here on a fast track. Just missed hitting the board on Aug 12th at Delaware Park. With decent odds right here, he has my interest. 30-40-45 are last three speed figs. Improving each time out is something he should do again right here in this race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 SECOND LINE DAVID (ML=3/2), #1 MARTINI LANE (ML=4/1), #7 BIG BAD BUD (ML=8/1),

SECOND LINE DAVID - In this type of situation, this pony's inability to make up any ground in the last race is a reason for concern. MARTINI LANE - Finished fourth on Aug 12th after the extended time off. Doubtful if there will be a reversal of fortune in this race. This racer just hasn't looked sharp lately. Earned a substandard speed rating last time around the track in a $5,000 Maiden Claiming race on August 12th. Improbable to see an improved performance off of that number. BIG BAD BUD - Hard to wager on at 8/1 odds after the most recent efforts. This entrant ran a disappointing speed rating last time around the track.
