NHL betting odds are up for Tuesday’s playoff games, a pair of conference semifinals that could send the winners to the conference finals. The Vegas Golden Knights aim to put away the Vancouver Canucks in Game 5, and the New York Islanders look to do likewise against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The SuperBook at Westgate provided insights on NHL opening lines and early line movement, sharp money and public betting for Tuesday’s contests.

Maker-trained colt projects to draft into a cozy second flight, stalking position and then have his chance to outkick his rivals when it matters the most. There’s solid value here at or near his morning line of 5/2 and at that price we’ll use him in the win pool and in rolling exotic play.

Debuting English-bred filly brought the equivalent nearly $360,000 at the Tattersalls October yearling sale last year and makes her debut for top connections in this one mile grass affair for 2-year-old fillies. The B. Cox-trained import has done some exceptional work leading up to this race on a relatively brief work tab that includes two bullet drills and one near miss, a recent half mile breeze in :47 4/5 that was second fastest of 61 for the distance. Bred for turf on both sides of her pedigree, the daughter of Lope de Vega lands top grass rider F. Geroux and catches what appears to be a below par field for the level. At 2-1 on the morning line she’s a win play and rolling exotic single.
