    AAA'S FREE TWOLVES-NUGGETS WINNER

    Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets
Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets Under 225.5 (-110) (BetOnline)

This is a free play (1*) on UNDER These teams just played Sunday. The Nuggets won 124-109 as 8.5 point favorites. The game went Over, but that was with hot shooting from both sides. They combined to make over 50% of total field goal attempts and Denver hit 19 three pointers. Minnesota still doesn't have Karl-Anthony Towns and thus probably won't put up much of a fight on the road. Denver won't score 124 again, but their defensive numbers are due to improve. Play on UNDER

Chicago Bulls vs Portland Trail Blazers
Portland Trail Blazers -10 (-104) (BookMaker)

The set-up: Chicago is dealing with several injury and COVID issues, including to: SG Tomas Satoransky, PF Lauri Markkanen, SF Chandler Hutchinson, and PG Ryan Arcidiacono. Portland's been a disappointment in the early going as well after a great end to the Bubble format last year, but I think its asking a lot of these undermanned Bulls to keep pace in this difficult non-conference road venue. Chicago averages 114.2 PPG and it allows 121.9. The pick: Portland averages 115.3 PPG, and it concedes 119.3. The Blazers recent form of late though will have them anxious to turn things around and here's the perfect opponent to get untracked against. Chicago was already struggling in every facet of the game, but with so many key players out due to COVID, it's hard to imagine where any sort of production will come from the visiting side tonight. Consider the home side in this one. This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the BLAZERS.

          The Prez

Event: (615) Kansas State at (616) Texas Tech
          Sport/League: CBB
          Date/Time: January 5, 2021 7PM EST
          Play: Texas Tech -16.0 (-110)
There are several college basketball mismatches on the Vegas rotation tonight. Easily the biggest among the Power 6 programs finds the Wildcats leaving the Little Apple and visiting hostile territories in Texas's great state (or that is what they tell me about the state).
I am not and never have been a big fan of Bruce Weber, but his current roster options are limited. The 'Cats are trying to run a 41 scheme offensively, and it isn't working. The "one-in" 41 needs to be much better than an 8 and 7 players for your team to succeed.
Tech was upset on this same court by the Oki State, overrated Oki State Cowboys last weekend. Tech finds revenge in the form of this meek Kansas State club.
Lay the wood and feel confident as the Red Raiders win in a romp.

            Play: River Plate -119
With UCF/Memphis canceled due to COVID-19, let's look to pull a winner out of South America for Tuesday's free winner instead. River Plate and Palmeiras makes for a really entertaining matchup but the first leg of any semifinal typically starts slowly. Both have averaged nearly three goals per game but with this first leg being in Argentina and Jorge Carrascal and Rafael Santos Borre shining, we'll ride with River Plate as a 3-way money line favorite 2% play.

              Play: Total Under 229 (-105)
Brandon is on a 26-15 (63.4%) all sports run, get his Korean basketball play for only $10, 2am Pacific time start. An all-day access pass for only $19 is also available.
              ------------------------------------------
My numbers have this Jazz / Nets game total at 221.5. That just barely qualifies for an under bet for 2%. Bet Under 229. If the line moves buy points to 229.

                625 Iowa State at Texas
The Cyclones are not up to the standards of Texas, but they have proven themselves to be a competent underdog. The only game in which they were not competitive was against the run and gun Iowa Hawkeyes. Coming off a contest with Baylor, we think the Cyclones can put up enough defensive might to keep this game under the number.
Texas is coming off its best game of the season, crushing Kansas by 25 points. That brought a lot of national eyes to this program and in turn raises expectations. But the betting markets agree that now is the time to fade them, with West Virginia and Texas Tech on deck.

Penny Hardaway is back in Orlando looking to improve to 2-1 in his old stomping grounds as a head coach after picking up a 59-57 victory last Jan. 29. Look for this get-together with Johnny Dawkins to continue a run of low-scoring games for both of these American Athletic Conference squads. The ‘under’ is 8-1-1 in Memphis contests this season and has prevailed in four of six involving the Knights. Both teams played South Florida last since Memphis had its Saturday game against Tulane postponed and escaped with different results since UCF struggled in its rivalry game. The Knights have averaged 74.7 points in their wins but only 57.0 in their three losses and are listing talented freshman Isaiah Adams as a game-time decision after missing him against the Bulls. Memphis edged USF 58-57 to avoid losing consecutive games for the second time this season after being held to just 49 points at home against Tulsa. It’s hard to recommend taking just 1.5 points without Adams’ availability becoming clear until closer to tip-off and not a great idea to lay it with a Memphis squad that has covered only one of its last eight contests so I would pull the trigger on the low side of 137.5 points if you’re going to touch this contest you can catch on ESPNU. Ride the under as a 3% play.

Favorable matchup for Memphis, and the Tigers fit as a play on Dave's power ratings. Laying the small road spot here with Memphis.
