Event: (493) Seattle Seahawks at (494) Minnesota Vikings
      Sport/League: NFL

      Date/Time: September 26, 2021 4PM EDT
      Play: Minnesota Vikings +1.5 (-110)

Minnesota sits at 0-2 and returns home to take on 1-1 Seattle. Both teams lost in gut wrenching fashion last week. Seattle blew a big lead then lost in OT while Minnesota led most of the game before trailing by 1 late and missed the game winning FG on the Final Play. Seattle’s defense was gashed at home last week by Tennessee for 532 Yards including 40 rushing attempts for 212 yards. Minnesota’s offense is built similar to Tennessee as the Vikings have a strong ground game as well with Dalvin Cook and a good passing game with Kirk Cousins who has thrown for 578 yards in 2 games. HC Zimmer is 30-16 ATS after 1 or more consecutive losses as the coach of MINNESOTA and is 11-3 ATS after a loss by 3 or less points as the coach of MINNESOTA. Note that 0-2 home dogs in Game 3 of the season are 9-4-1 ATS the the L5 years. MINNESOTA 35-31

Al Cimaglia: Hawthorne Racecourse Late Pick 4 Analysis

            September 26, 2021 | By Al Cimaglia
It's closing night at Hawthorne Racecourse as Illinois harness racing will return on January 7. There are mandatory payouts in all pools. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 9. The sequence has a $25,000 guaranteed pool, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

            Race 9

2-Walkin Papers (6-1)-Willis 2-year-old makes only the 4th start of the year and comes off a good qualifier on 9-18. Appears to have been handled cautiously, this will be the 3rd start on Lasix and maybe the wrapper comes off tonight.
5-Reno Dinero (9/2)-Broke its maiden on 9-10 with a .56 back half to surge home and then was compromised with a soft pace. This is the 3rd start back in town and Leonard may provide a more aggressive steer and be in striking range turning for the wire.
6-Sunny And Eighty (5/2)-Winner in 3 of 6 returns to Haw after facing stakes caliber fillies at HoP without any success. Wilfong should have her forwardly placed and fits much better here. May return to winnings ways tonight.

            Race 10

2-Sirods Skeeter (3-1)-Took advantage of an efficient trip to break maiden last week and now bumps up. Still fits with these and might be able to follow the same script and keep winning.
6- Upbeat Big Guy (4-1)-One race can mean little or a lot. Guy is 1-30 lifetime but showed some life in last with a .57 back half to lose by a neck. That start was against 4 from this field, so will use and look for some juice in the Pick 4 payout.
7-JK Rockin Roll (7/5)-Drops to a better spot and on paper looks the part of a 7/5 morning line chalk. But this 3-year-old has only 9 lifetime starts and didn't hold the lead versus better as an odds-on chalk in last. Likes to race on the point and if gets there without using much gas it should be picture time.

            Race 11

2-Dilly Dilly Time (4-1)-Finished 3rd off a sick scratch in last but as usual a slow start hurt. Has a chance to make some noise at this level but is pace dependent unless Leonard can get this filly to start better. Will take a swing with Team Leonard versus this crew.
6-Zero Net Profit (9/2)-Steps-up, as does everyone who appears to have the best chance. The last 3 starts have been good and were the 1st at Haw. Looking for another strong try and Wilfong could race on the lead as there isn't much gate speed inside.
7-Love Is Hill (5/2)-Ohio bred has been successful racing on the fair circuit at home and has a shot versus this field. Won at Delaware County on 9-21 and claimed a 155.2 mark at Hawthorne on 6-20.

            Race 12

3-Rollinwitdaponyzzz (7/2)-Has the speed to beat this bunch and Wilfong knows well. Likes to race on the point and should get there and look to battle the one below down the long stretch.
4-Fox Valley Lynyrd (3-1)-Winner of 2 straight, the last at this class off an efficient trip provided by Wilfong. Leonard is back between the pipes to steer for his dad and if the pace is solid this 4-year-old could roll by again.

            0.50 Late Pick 4

              September 26, 2021
Remington Park – Race 8. Post time: 6:33 CT
              3 – Amendment Nineteen (7/2)

Freshened since late July and with an improving pattern that we suspect will continue, the daughter of Constitution looks capable of successfully handling this raise in class this year’s edition of the Remington Park Oaks-G3. This will be her first start wound two turns, but she graduated two runs back in a one-turn miler so today’s extra distance should work in her favor. With J. Rosario picking up the mount and with a strong recent series of workouts to have her fit and ready, she makes her first start since joining the high percentage B. Cox barn and should offer excellent wagering value at 7/2 on the morning line.

              *

Remington Park – Race 11. Post time: 8:11 CT
              5 – Team Merchants (6-1)

Has the opportuning to making the running in this year’s Remington Park Derby-G3 and will be quite dangerous in that role if his connections chose to exploit his natural early speed in a field that doesn’t have much in it. Fifth but beaten less than five lengths behind Grade-1 winners Medina Spirit and Rock Your World in the Shared Belief S. at Del Mar last month, the son of Nyquist was guzzled early while having his best weapon taken away, but, hopefully, tactics will change today. A recent bullet workout tells us he’s on edge, so at 6-1 on the morning line the D. O’Neill-trained colt is worth a gamble in the win pool and in rolling exotic play.

                Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

                Emerald Downs - Race #7
#6 Coastal Kid He has a little bit of back class to him and has always done good work over the local footing. Think he gets the perfect press and pounce trip today.
#4 Unmachable He can be tough if he brings something similar to the Grade III try last time out, but he lacks early pace and is going to give a big jump to the more tactical players. Worth trying to beat.
#5 Stay Fantastic He brings Hastings form that stacks up pretty well here, but he has not been a threat in a couple of starts in short fields in those last two trips to post. Underlay?
Race Summary Coastal Kid should be able to land a perfect, first-over trip with this group while breaking from the outside, and the logical 9/5 ML favorite Unmachable may come calling too late.
                Emerald Downs - Race #8
#2 Bayakoas Image She turned her local debut into a laugher when rolling stakes company by better than five, and there's little reason to think she won't turn in another reliable effort from right up on the splits.
#5 Rea Mea She has some pace to stay in the mix early, but she's coming up in class for this one -- still, it's tough to argue with what she did when sent long for the first time.
#4 Blazingbellablu Reliable type was no match for the top choice when they met last time out, and she may come along late for another underneath piece with this bunch.
Race Summary Bayakoas Image should be a handful here with anything similar to her last when romping against nine others in her local debut. Anything similar handles these.
                Emerald Downs - Race #9
#3 Sargent Kline None of these have been around two turns yet, and this guy at least has some pedigree to see out this trip. He's a maiden who will offer a big price here, but he may appreciate keeping up with a more manageable route tempo.
#5 Diamond Willow He was a decent, if distant, second last time out when when trying stakes company as a maiden, and he should be in line for a pretty great trip tracking the pace while moving around two turns.
#1 Boss Nine He's one of the logical players in here after a useful debut score from close range, and he figures to flash a little bit of pace from the inside while moving around two turns.
Race Summary Sargent Kline will be a price with this group, but he looks like the type who might improve going long in a race where that two-turn trip is a question mark for everyone.

                  Jerry Shottenkirk's Daily Picks

                  Remington Park - Race #4
#4 Lansdowne Cruised in his debut and then tired to seventh in the G3 Bashford Manor, a top 2-year-old race at Churchill Downs; put down a 21 flat opening quarter in the Bashford and can dictate the pace in this one.
#5 Concept Still a maiden after two races but was fifth in the Prairie Gold Juvenile last out; capable of being close throughout.
#3 Rowdy Rascal Broke his maiden vs. Oklahoma-breds last out and was tremendous in the final furlong in doing so; takes a significant step up, but the easy win over the strip could work in his favor.
Race Summary Lansdowne has superior early foot and will be a problem for any other that wants the lead; can lead every jump if he can be rated by jockey Court, who has been aboard both of his races.
                  Remington Park - Race #7
#2 Casual Hasn't won since an allowance score at Oaklawn in her first of the year but has faced top company, including Gamine (in the G1 Ballerina at Saratoga). Carries a quality late punch and can hammer it home in this one.
#6 Sweet Mary M Ran on for second vs. Oklahoma-breds last time and can be close throughout.
#5 Canadian Ginger Was an easy winner in her last three and makes her first start since June; impressive early speed makes her a big player.
Race Summary Casual has the class in this one and can benefit from following a rapid pace.
                  Remington Park - Race #8
#1 Pauline's Pearl Was second in the G3 Charles Town Oaks and just couldn't catch a loose leader in the stretch; won the G3 Fantasy at Oaklawn, and anything close to that can make her very difficult to beat.
#7 Lady Mystify Has good speed, broke her maiden by 18 at Santa Anita and will put down the fractions here; clearly a player.
#5 Lovely Ride Went wire to wire at Parx and has won four of six races; will be close to Lady Mystify during the early going.
Race Summary Pauline's Pearl gets an ideal pace setup and has the late energy to be successful at this distance.
