4th race – (5) In the Union was hurt by a wide trip when third behind a highly regarded stablemate. Should prevail here. (6) Little Vic disappointed in a stakes but fits better here. WOW FACTOR - I usually like playing sprinters who are 3-4 races into a comeback. I like to play this handicapping angle, a thoroughbred coming back off a strong race within the last month or so. This animal has increased her speed figures in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is worth taking a look at.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 KAZ'S PRINCESS (ML=2/1), #4 GLOSSY MADRINA (ML=5/2), #3 MISS PARFAIT (ML=6/1),

KAZ'S PRINCESS - In any event of 6 furlongs, I like to wager on a contender that has been looking good in sprint contests of late. GLOSSY MADRINA - If you keep playing these sort of 'bridesmaid' types, you're going to be dissatisfied often. Last effort was too strong. Not too far of a reach to expect a 'performance bounce' this time out. MISS PARFAIT - Tough to keep stabbing at this sort of 'bridesmaid' horse. When examining today's class figure, she will have to register a better speed figure than last out to compete in this dirt sprint.
