It's difficult to step in against Arkansas, which is 13-1 in its last 14 games and is a remarkable 9-0-1 ATS in its last 10 games.
But I see LSU hanging within two possessions of the Razorbacks in this revenge setting.
Arkansas just finished polishing off Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee in its last three games. The Razorbacks are well-coached under Eric Musselman. But it's difficult for any team to keep producing ''A'' effort after ''A'' effort.
LSU fell to Arkansas, 65-58, at home on Jan. 15 as 6 1/2-point favorites. Now the number is nearly reversed. The Tigers didn't have senior point guard Xavier Pinson in that game. Pinson leads the Tigers in assists and is their No. 3 scorer. He's the key to breaking Arkansas' pressing defense. The Razorbacks forced 16 turnovers in the earlier meeting.
The combination of having a sizable lineup, which can generate second-chance points, and Pinson should keep LSU in this game.

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Tuesday was with the Phoenix Suns minus the points versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Phoenix (49-12) has lost two in a row with their 118-114 loss to Utah as a 3-point underdog on Sunday. That final score finished Over the 226 point Total — and the Suns have covered the point spread in 19 of their last 28 games after playing Over the Total in their last game. And while Phoenix has only covered the point spread just once in their last five games, they have then covered the point spread in 7 of their last 8 games after not covering the point spread in four or five of their last six games. Portland (25-36) has lost two in a row after their 124-92 loss to Denver as an 8-point underdog on Sunday. The Trail Blazers have failed to cover the point spread in 9 of their last 11 games after a loss by 20 or more points at home. Portland has also failed to cover the point spread in 11 of their last 16 road games with the Total set at 220 or higher. Take Phoenix minus the points. Best of luck — Frank.

The Phoenix Suns rarely lost two games in a row. They have done just that by losing to the Pelicans on the second of a back-to-back and then the Jazz. They get Cameron Payne back healthy tonight to help make up for the loss of Chris Paul. The Suns don't need Paul to put away the Portland Trail Blazers in blowout fashion tonight. The Blazers are missing a ton of key players and have one of the worst rosters in the NBA now. That has shown in their last two games, losing by 37 at home to the Warriors and by 32 at home to the Nuggets. It should be more of the same tonight against the Suns. Phoenix is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings, including 4-1 ATS in the last five home meetings. Give me the Suns.
