The Key: The Texas A&M Aggies have won 3 of their last 4 to improve to 18-11 this season and back on the bubble. A road win over Alabama would go a long way for them. They face a Crimson Tide team that is 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall, including 2-10 ATS in their last 12 home games. The underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 matchups. The Aggies are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as underdogs and have been great in the role of large road underdog under Buzz Williams. Take Texas A&M.

Play on: Rangers -105 at SC Consensus

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach Wednesday NHL Free Pick New York Rangers Money Line -105 vs St Louis Blues @ 7:35 ET - Yes, the Blues come into this game hot but 8 of their last 9 games have been against teams that, if the season ended today, are all on the outside looking in when it comes to playoff contention. Now St Louis is on the road facing a determined Rangers club off back to back losses but that will have red hot Igor Shesterkin back between the pipes for this one and he has been fantastic this season. The Rangers have won 68% of their home games this season and the Blues have won 52% of their road games this season. Strong line value here with the home team at a pick'em price. Free Pick NEW YORK RANGERS -105

                    NCAA-B | UT-Rio Grande Valley vs Lamar
                    Play on: UNDER 147½ -110

Wednesday CBB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Texas-Rio Grande Valley and Lamar at 8 pm et on Wednesday.
The first meeting between these two teams this season was a wild, high-scoring affair with UTRGV lighting it up in a 93-79 victory. As a result we're working with a slightly higher posted total for the rematch. I believe it will prove too high. Note that the Vaqueros haven't come close to reaching the same heights they did offensively in that game against Lamar. Since then, they've topped out at 72 points, knocking down just 18, 16, 29, 20, 21 and 21 field goals in their last six games. While the Vaqueros do play a relatively fast pace, or certainly yield plenty of opportunities for opposing offenses at least, Lamar doesn't appear well-positioned to take advantage. The Cardinals have made fewer than 20 field goals in three of their last four contests, scoring 56 points or less in all four of those games. On a positive note, they're coming off one of their best defensive efforts of the season, holding Tarleton State to just 57 points on 17-of-50 shooting last time out, on the road no less. They're allowing just 24 made field goals including only six from beyond the arc per game here at home this season. Take the under.

                      NBA | Heat vs Bucks
                      Play on: UNDER 226½ -110

                      Jack's Free Pick Wednesday: Heat/Bucks UNDER 226.5
It's safe to say the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks know each other inside and out. They have met in the playoffs each of the last two seasons and they have squared off three times already this season. Familiarity favors defense and low scoring games, and that's a big reason I'm backing the UNDER tonight.
After combining for 232 points in their first meeting this season, the Heat and Bucks combined for 226 in their second meeting and 217 in their third meeting. I think this total is set too high tonight and this trend is going to continue as they combine for well UNDER 226.5 points.
Miami has elite defenders across the board with Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler and PJ Tucker in the starting lineup. These three have all missed time due to injury, but they have been healthy of late and the defensive results have shown. They have allowed 111 or fewer points in 10 of their last 11 games overall, including just 99 to the Bulls last time out.
The Heat are also without PG Kyle Lowry, and that hurts them offensively. It also makes them play at a slower tempo and run the offense more through Jimmy Butler. This total has been inflated due to the Bucks going over the total in eight of their last nine games overall. They will meet some defensive resistance tonight from the Heat in this battle between two of the top teams in the East. Bet the UNDER Wednesday.

                        Play on: OVER 235 -110

                        FREE PICK: Kings/Pelicans OVER 235
                        RATING: 30*
                        ROT#: 583/584
I'll take my chances with the OVER 235 in Wednesday's late night NBA action between the Kings and Pelicans. These are two teams that added in a big offensive piece at the trade deadline. Sacramento acquiring Sabonis from the Pacers and New Orleans landing McCollum from the Blazers.
Pelicans have really seen an offensive uptick. They are scoring 117.4 ppg on 50.5% shooting over their last 5 games. Sacramento is averaging 110.8 ppg on 46.8% shooting over their last 5 and that's with them scoring 85 on 34.4% shooting in one of those games. Kings have shot 50% or better from the field in 7 of their last 10 games.
The other big key here is these are two teams that are average at best on the defensive side of the ball. Kings have really struggled on that side, giving up 117.4 ppg on 50.4% shooting in their last 5 and it goes back further than that. Give me the OVER 235!

ASA free play on Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 over Miami Heat, 8:10 PM ET - HUGE game in the Eastern Conference with Miami Heat 1st at 41-21 while the Bucks are 4th at 37-25. Home team has won 7 of the last ten AND all 3 meetings this season were won by an average of 24PPG. Bucks were favored by -6.5 points at home last meeting without Giannis, now laying LESS than that with him? Miami’s current 9-1 SU hot streak has driven this number down from where it is. Milwaukee is 124-36 SU their last 160 at home with a +10PPG average. The Bucks hold an advantage offensively with the 4th most efficient offense in the NBA at 1.139-points per possession compared to the Heat’s 1.131PPP which ranks 7th. The Heat are better defensively with the 6th best DEFF numbers allowing 1.081PPP versus the Bucks who rank 13th allowing 1.103PPP. Bucks 4-2 ATS the last 6 meetings. No Lowry for the Heat on Wednesday which will shorten their rotation and we like the Bucks to win a close game by 8 or more points. **ASA 7-1 L8 Hoops OVER/UNDERS including 4-1 / 80% in NBA – BIG TOTAL BET ON WEDNESDAY**

Wednesday's Free NBA Pick is on the Milwaukee Bucks as a 4.5-point home favorite against the Miami Heat. I just like the price with Milwaukee at home in this one, especially with Miami playing without Kyle Lowry and this being their 4th game in a week since teams returned from the All-Star break. Bet the Bucks -4.5!

The Connecticut Huskies travel to Creighton to take on the Blue Jays on Wednesday night. Connecticut is 21-7 SU overall this year while Creighton comes in with a 19-9 SU overall record on the season. Connecticut is 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS last 3 years as a road favorite of 3 1/2 to 6 points. Connecticut is 5-0 SU past 5 games overall. Connecticut is 50-10 SU last 60 games as a favorite. We'll recommend a small play on Connecticut tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky

It appears to me to be a great spot to pull the trigger on the home side. LA's 5-game win streak came to a crashing halt in a 7-0 loss to Boston in its last game. LA has a difficult road trip starting tonight in Dallas, followed by games at Columbus, Buffalo and Boston and I believe it'll have its hands full here against a Stars team that plays with revenge after a 4-0 defeat at LA in early December. The Stars are off a 4-2 home win over Buffalo (they're 19-7-1 at home, compared to the Kings' 14-12-1-1 road record.) With a 3-game road stretch starting on Friday, I believe Dallas will dig deep and find a way to deliver on home ice this evening; consider the Stars!
