So I was looking through an old 2007 issue of Black Belt today and a couple of things caught my eye:
1. An ad for The IFL, asking "Which team will come out on top?!"
2. A headline that read: "Gonzaga KOs Filipovic at UK UFC"

When I was younger I did the weight-gainer thing but it always made me sick to my stomach, especially when mixed with milk.
Right now I'm using this, which is like a weight-gainer:
But I'm only doing 1/3 serving at a time because a serving by the bottle's standards is like three giant ass scoops of that shit.Leave a comment:

Have you ever looked into (I am sure you have) a weight gainer powder mix? With a serving of a weight gainer powder, some milk, some peanut butter, etc....that's > 1,000 cals right there and 70-90g of protein at least. That's generally my preference. I'm on a big time budget right now, though. I had like 20 bucks the other day and knew that I had to buy enough food to make it to the 4th of Dec or else I would run out of food and probably die. I knew you could get a bag of chicken breasts for like $8 so that's what I did.
Basically, for the next week I have chicken breasts, pasta, sandwich meat, a quarter of a loaf of bread, 10 slices of cheddar cheese, some rice and chips & salsa.
Oh, and 3 protein bars and some protein powder.

I have tried that, it's not bad. I don't really need that stuff though because I can put on weight very easy (good and bad kind). Also, 20% off for cyber monday if you wanna get it.Leave a comment:

Tonight I marinated a bunch of chicken breasts and baked them. Then I cooked some pasta, cut up one breast and dropped it on top, and then covered it all with spaghetti sauce. It was actually pretty good. But not calorie rich. I'm trying to eat a ham sandwich right now to up my calorie and protein intake for the day. I'm already full though, so that's proving to be a chore.
If I'm eating chicken and rice then I'm usually getting full after 1.5 to 2 chicken breasts, depending on their size.
The good news is that I gained 2 1/2 pounds this week.Leave a comment:

What a surprise. I'll check that shit out for sure.
I'm sure it will find a place in my Blu-Ray collection right next to Two for the Money.Leave a comment:
